North Wilkesboro Speedway- The Documentary

I was here back in October of 2010 for the USAR and Modified race. Just walking around that track and sitting in the seats made me think alot about how the greats raced here and the many great races were here. I felt very close to the track and very intimate. Cannot get that at most tracks. This is a throwback track like Fenway is to baseball. Not some boring cookie cutter track. Character and not this manufactured kind we see now

I live in Washington state now and I remember skipping class at West High with my cousin in '85 and sneaking down to that very track and watching qualifying. It was a windy day. The sound roared outta that track in a way I've never heard from another track. Excellent video. Appreciate the memory and agree 100% with what you say. Holly Farms 400 baby!
