Guys I realize all these comments are really old but I just want to clear up that this is Japanese. I know these lyrics by heart, and there is no doubt in my mind what so ever that it is Japanese, not jibberish/phantomilian.

Something tells me that Sonic Team ripped off the main idea from Klonoa Heroes and added it to Sonic Heroes. I mean look! Both title names are nearly te same, Klonoa heroes is mainly almost every Klonoa character being in the game, and you are switching into 3 different people with different weapons and abilities!

Sonic Team just added teams, made it 3D, and added a different story. I feel disappointed.

That was ''Stepping Wind'' (Wahoo Stomp in English version) song from Klonoa 2 wich Klonoa speaks gibberish in. Klonoa speaks Japanese in this game (Klonoa Heroes) and the song (Sign of Hero) is also sung in Japanese.

It takes place in an alternate universe where Klonoa lives in Lunatea, not Phantomile, and he and Lolo have been friends since they were little. He just met Guntz in this universe, too.

@BizzarreProductions don't know about that because in the ps/2.5 D story he doesn't really have a reality he belongs in- a very clever move on Namco's part, that means they can do almost anything with these games, including revisiting/recreating different realities.

As for if it is gibberish: 0:36 to 0:40 "Hashiridase hashiridase, The sign of a hero" are part of the lyrics. That means "Let's run, Let's run, (and of course the english THE SIGN OF A HERO)", so yeah. Not gibberish. Japanese. The lyrics are kinda fuzzy and hard to hear, but yeah. I not much for the gameplay I saw. But I wish they could make an english version so i could understand what is going on in the story. I'm not going to buy an expensive game if I can't understand it. What say you?

I doubt there will be an English version unless some people do it voluntarily (highly doubt that).

As for the Japanese, you get used to it and understand what does what very quickly, and if you want the story go look at videos from CopycatHime. He has translations for the cut-scenes.
