Why do hunters use highly potent guns, instead of going and hunt with their own arms as the other animals do? To me, killing animals by shoting them from a blind or any other hiden place using this type of guns, is like a guitar player using a guitar that could play like Jimmy Hendrix by itself, and this guitar player feel proud of being a prodigious musician.
i think its so funny how all the animal rights pieces of shit come on here and fuckin bitch about people doing what they want. i mean god damn if he wants to hunt zebra who gives a shit.
Why was this recomemed for me? This is not right! Considering Zebras are m y favorite animal! THis just makes me sick! I mean come on! Just hunting to hunt? IF your going to kill something, EAT IT!!! GOD DAMN!!! Sorry, dont get mad, this jsut makes me upset...
What makes you think it wasn't eaten?? I'll have you know that the trackers even harvested the intestines and suck weird things to use to make sausage and other local "delicacies". We ate Zebra tenderloin that night. :)
@Litt1eDevi1 Well, if it was eaten, im fine. But i always see animals hung up on walls and stuffed. But then again, i always wander what happened to its insides...
Sick - sick - sick hunters. Find a cow somewhere and shot it - there are plenty of them. And I don´t care if they are old zebras - you´re stealing the food of lions, which is also and endangered species.
@Halvorson Well the lion is not far off is it! Its vulnerable on the Conservation status which means its almost endangered so its probably best not to shoot them!
I killed a mountain zebra last Oct in Namibia. My PH aged it at ~18 years old. His teeth were almost worn to the gums so he certainly would have been brutally killed by a leopard or hyenas within the next few years. Like Red, they utilized the entire horse. We BBQ'd the backstrap the next day and it was very good.
then why do you watch videos of it? Retard, do you always partake in watching videos of things you consider bad? Very nice video by the way, i have my .338 sighted in with 225 federals work amazing on whitetail
Well my trackers and their families sure appreciated the meat. They never wasted one bit. They even took the intestines for something. Gross, but efficient. Maybe they use them to make sausage or something. Anyway, I respect your opinion and am glad you respect mine. The humble opinion part was a nice change compared to some of the comments received in the past. Take care and God Bless!
I agree. They are tough to hunt and tend to stay in small groups. Plus, they roll around in that red sand and when in the shadows, they blend in VERY well. People think you walk up to a huge herd of hundreds of animals and take pot shots. It's nothing like that. :)
What was the distance of that shot? Looks a good ways off. My son just purchased a Remington model 700 338 Winchester Magnum. He is moving to Alaska and will more than likely be hunting Elk, Moose and maybe have to shoot an aggressive Polar Bear. He will be livning in the Artic Circle and the largest Polar Bear in the Guiness book of World records was shot in his area. I wil have to show him this video. I am sure he will be pleased with his purchase after seeing this.
Thanks Man. Broke the on shoulder and took out the top of the heart. I love the way he reared up after the shot. Makes for a great piece of video and a memorable shot. FYI this was a .338 Win Mag with 225 Nosler Accubonds. They work great!
The majority of people think that guys who kill animals for "sport" must have really small dicks.

They are tough to hunt. I agree completely. I found them almost as hard as taking my leopard (this was back in the early 80's in Zimbabwe).

@dynamicdave1234 all I said was neither were endangered. I really don't think lion's are going to starve and die out because people hunt zebras.

Great shot and awesome trophy. My mountain zebra is one of my most prized trophies. I found them to be very hard to get close to.
