IF you like HWY 101 check out the new Christmas Clip on you tube CHRISTMAS ON HWY 101 this is going to be a National TV show this Holiday Season and a new record next year..
Yes, the drummer is very cocky. My dad hired them for the Fire Department street dance back in the day, so I was able to meet them in person and the drummer wasn't very friendly , but the rest of the band was very pleasant.
Probably was cocky because after all the gold records and awards from back in the day he's now playing a street dance. No offense to your dad's thing. They really should get Paulette Carlson back and do a real reunion. Enough of us forty-somethings would love to hear the real them again.
Yeah, Paulette and the guys were known for their awesome harmonies. This is pretty bad. And yes, the drummer, cocky as ever. Whaddya expect from a guy named Cactus. And Paulette Carlson is still the best. You heard her doing her Vet tribute song Thank you Vets? My god it's a moving song.
My aunt paulette put this band on the map. And these gies and gal are holding a candle in the wind they would get blown right out, RGC polly i love you and im so proud of you.
I had the pleasure of seeing your aunt Paulette at Young Harris, GA several years ago. Not only a powerful voice but wonderful tonal quality and range. She was a sensation!!!
Is she dead? I really liked her solo hit. " I'll Start With You" Sorry if she is and you can't blame this band from still trying to make a living at doing what the love even if they do steal the Ventures Riffs, I heaRD T HEM IN THERE. i HAVE a great ear for the so called songwriters these days that just mix and match with a PC and call it a new song. oh well, such is lifeThis chick does not have the Volume of Paulette!!! she is ok, and boring~!
It falls off all the time. Gorilla glue, Goop, Super Stick, velcro. He's tried everything, but the headstock usually ends up falling off in the case. Just a 4 string bass guitar, so its not important. i could take 1 lesson without a headstock and probably get a gig.
I was starting to wonder if the chick was ever gonna come out and if they were ever gonna start the song. I'm sorry, but I always liked Highway 101. Too bad they faded away just as fast as they came on the scene. Although I will say that their later stuff wasn't near as good as their earlier stuff (like Cry, Cry, Cry). Apparently they do put on a good show. Even today. I've never had the chance to see them, but a buddy of mine said he saw them at a fair a year ago and they were awesome.
Nope...Sure miuss Jaydee on steel, and Paulette singing....Very empty..

Where's the original lead singer? She was the best. They're obviously overcompensating. We only went to shows to see her, after all.

Wait, wait, wait... the neck and headstock are one piece, at least on the Rick, Danelectro, and Crescent I have.
