He was A Lobster Fisherman, He used to live On Beach St.

He was A Docherty. I lived In New Waterford for a year and I loved every moment ....

The Picture of the boats in this video was where my Father Kept his boat and Lived just right up the road from there.

This is my Mother's birthplace. I haven't been there for 30 years. Its a beautiful place and I miss it and all the family there. My Grandfather is pictured on the Lingan & Lingan Phaelan Colliery sign. He was a Wonderful Man and I miss him more than anything.

I was born in New Waterford and it's been many years since we moved out west. There's one thing we all seem to have in common - we all miss it...even though, in my case it's been over 40 years. I remember the great-big post office on Plummer Ave, and the theatre - we used to go the matinee every Saturday afternoon. I saw a movie there called Beyond the Door & I couldn't sleep for months! I used to sneak up to my Aunt Agnes' house on St. Ann's St & always got in trouble. It's so different.
