  • TR-808 at its best...

  • Fuck, one of the best.

  • FRESH !!!!!!!!!!!

  • VINTAGE HIP HOP NO MORE WORDS NEED TO BE SAID. THIS IS TRUE HIP HOP FOR ALL WHO DONT KNOW FROM THE WORDS, STYLE, BEAT, SCRATCHING, AND COW BELLS. THIS IS TRUE HIP HOP THIS WORKED FROM THE WEST TO THE EAST EVERYBODY WAS WITH IT PLEASE BELIEVE

  • I been trying to find this song since 1986 my senior year in high school this shit used to rock the ATL on sunday night at the skating rink (Sparkles and Cascade road) a CLASSIC!

  • The CLASSIC 2 LIVE CREW back in the days when they were in the Westcaost of Los Angeles, CA.... They brought the Ghetto Style to Miami that became a style for the Miami sounds.........

  • appreciate wtf ol skool aint nutn beder

  • 808 beat.

    The First ''XXX RAP''?

i believe ''Dirty Rap'' by BLOWFLY

  • Contreversy

  • Man, Luke ruined any potential 2 Live Crew could have with his obsession with that porno crap. Even then they made a few good albums and became later on whack. Just think of it, he ruined Fresh Kid Ice so much that even when Luke was no longer a member, he and the rest of the remaining members still made a bunch of sex songs.

A damn shame these guys became Luke's victims, someone whacker should have taken that place instead.

  • @fleshnbone187

Luke made the 2 Live Crew mate. He made them and gave them the status they have nowdays. The Miami-Base thing was good, but only local. They needed a wider audience and the best they could have done was go Base + Porno-Rap, so they did and sold millions world wide. The crew sure had its differences with Luke later on, but without Luke they probably would have not been as successful as tehy were. Luke knows the game ;-)

  • @Fr0Z3n1337 I'm not denying Luke's game as a businessman, he's a lot more intelligent than given credit for. But the way he jacked the group and made them into perverted porno rappers when they had potential for becoming greater than that is just saddening. When you see their older stuff before Luke took care of them, they are a lot better lyrically but as soon as he got hold of them, they turned into pussy-obsessed maniacs that ran into a lot of shit.

  • @fleshnbone187

I think ur right there, to be honest!

  • good ol times ,i even sold fresh kid a car at the dealer i used to work.

  • @sandinovive1000

Haha, thats cool. What car was it, do u remember? ;-)

  • @Fr0Z3n1337 haha, yeah i remember it was a 92 bonneville fully loaded! tha guy had nasty credit so had to put like 6 grands down. he was pretty cool gave me an autograph pic, and a cd. ..... later bro ,take care.

  • @sicmaggot187

  • Did the flip side of this 12" had the instrumental with some beat boxing to it?

  • hi z, yes it did mate it has the vocal and instrumental on one side and the b side is a full side including a few more cuts and yes the beat boxing... it has a yellow centre with a drawing of a double deck in orange and also an mc holding a mic, the label is fresh beat records and sadly was never released with a picture sleeve..

one of my precious records im proud to own..

    mr mixx a true legend

  • @scratchatune I just dug through my crates the other day while moving to new place and found this record same version you're describing with the Yellow label and the double decks and the mc's. I was happy to run into this gem again.

  • Yes it did!......the dub version was tight....beatboxin and scratching....I started many parties with this record.....classic sht!

  • @flagg143 I dug that dub version too. Long live the Roland 808...

  • "I need a girl that I can hold, cuddle in my arms till I grow old"...than he actually says the word "love"?

Ice was flowin. Mixx was cuttin. Nice.

As a Dj this one song here has influenced my stlye of scratching and mixing more than any other.

    SuperObscure you know your shit!

  • Mang, this here boi, you gotta be from the Broward/Dade County to appreciate this!!!!

  • this is when hip hop was interesting

  • too true G...about style and lookin fresh to the nines

  • The original miami pac jam .

    long live LUKE SKYWALKER RECORDS

  • Yep...But George Lukas make`s the Label an End,back then...........anyway!!!- Luke Skyywalker Records 4 Life

  • I still have a cassette and the "Move Sumthin'" CD that have the Skyywalker Records logo on them. I refuse to give those up.

But still, this is definately some ol' school s***!

  • anybody that owns original pressing of viynl records or cd's on the luke skywalker records is owning alot of money. They are history makers because george lucas sued luther cambell and won so luther had to change the label name to luke records. No anything with the original luke skywalker records logo, is worth hundreds. I have seen a cd of the luke album banned in the usa which was the last record on luke skywalker records label go for about 500.00 dollars.

  • I thought "Banned In The USA" was released on Atlantic Records

  • how about cassettes? I've got an original cassette I found in the basement of a house we moved into around 92.

  • cassettes wont hold value as vinyl or cd, the 2 live crew is in the works of releasing a new upcoming album which will take it back to their nasty days. Brother Marquis, Fresh Kid Ice and Dj Toomp! Be on the look out!

  • nice

  • Uncle Luke ain't gonna be involved?

  • Uncle Luke will no longer be involved with the two live crew, they parted ways along with mr mixx the original dj of the 2 live crew. He was replaced by dj toomp, But fresh kid ice and brother marquis will be definetly be on top of their game! So be on the look out. I have even heard that some of the producers feature lil jon on a few of the booty quake and shake tracks.

  • Luke have any solo work I should check out?

  • Luke has pretty much retired from the music industry. He's just mentoring Pitbull out of miami. He has been really really involved in pitbulls music. Other than that he has said he has learned alot from the mistakes and trials that faced him. Thats why he created lil joe, he lost a major part of old 2 live crew money from a major distrubitor. Lil Joe records now owns a major part of all of luke's former catalog. He was lied to and pretty much signed over all his rights and royalties.

  • Apparently he has an audiobook out.

  • that book with cds was released in 2006 called "My Life and Freaky Times" which sold a good number of copies. He tells how basically his lawyer was the one who swindled him into the wrong deal which forced him to file for bankruptcy. Uncle Luke is still a legend and has left a legacy in Miami and the world as the creator of his style which is Miami Bass Music!

  • Wasn't there also a book..."As Nasty As I Wanna Be" that came out before that?

  • Luke has NOTHING to do with Lil' Joe Records.

  • I almost forgot about that name Luke Skywalker, they had so many haters, now there are tons of rappers who dont give a fuck but its more gangster rap now. I remembere there first "tape" cover.

  • Nice Upload............Thx

  • I remembr this song back in the mid 1980's, Great stuff! 2 Live Crew kicks ass!

  • A question for all music lovers. What's the name of the song that they sample to make up this song?

  • the CHINA MAN

  • I'll change that i messed up was 1989 not 87 lol

  • LMAO when i was 16 in 87 i lied to the store cashier that i was 18 to buy the album. When my Mom heard me play it, well she took it and broke the cassette in pieces and called it pure filth

    LOL how time flies.

  • X-Mas 1990 my dad got me Digital Underground's album because "The Humpty Dance" was on it. The Album title was "Sex Packets" though...and my mom confiscated it. I was 12.

  • Original MIami bass for sure! Dam. Alot of Cuban nusic being heard in their vecinity could have been the insperation for these beats.

  • I love how they would break that shit down ang go off scratchin'

  • back b4 luke got hold of them boys and jacked their careers into some strip club soundtrack garbage...

  • Ýeeah, Legends still today we still love em. Peeace

  • dope 2 live crew b4 they became a gimmick. str8 fresh old school flava.
