  • The hummer would own this copycat it is only 1 inch taller and a few thousand pounds heavier. the hummer is truly the best off road truck

  • @HaloCOD816

People has to be reminded time and time again that military requirements of different countries can be very different and these vehicles; HMMWV, Mega Cruiser, or otherwise, are mostly made to prescribed specifications by the military establishment themselves and the vehicles capabilities do not necessarily reflect the overall extent of the manufacturers' technological abilities.

  • @HaloCOD816 *cough cough Unimog cough*

  • I want one!!! :D

  • Anyone know how much torque does the Mega Cruiser have?

  • @elr456

    Hi there! It's 280 lbs-ft or in metric: 39,0 kg-m @ 1800 RPM.

    Thank's for watching my videos!

  • @hotrod4you2

Aww, that's so thoughtful. I'm with you on that. May God help them and us all; there are many natural disasters happening all around the world, USA included. Thank you for your kind comment, brother.

  • Look like Hummer! Is this in service?

  • @CharlieDoan

It is in service. It is certainly inspired by the Hummer but it is not a license-built or an industrial plagiarism. As you see in the video, it has it's own unique capabilities.

  • Japanese hummer rite there

  • OMG its a humvee with a jap badge on it

  • '

    wow i want both hummers,,,

one american hummer and one japanese hummer

  • really similiar to the hummer

  • 4-wheel steering or not, it looks like a humvee..anyone can see that.

  • @fran21ish

All tanks look the same. But not out of plagiarism/outright copying, it's out of demands of function.

  • @DanieruShidebuteru thanks for puttin it up..

  • @fran21ish

    You're welcome!

  • geisha hummer...yummmy!!!!

  • come on japan, we had this first do your own thing, stop copying our SHIT!!!!

  • @fran21ish

They did do their own thing. The resemblance is out of function, not plagiarism; namely the 4WD capability requirements such as width dimension, ground clearance, though those requirements became such as a direct result of Humvee's introduction, proving the feasibility of such design and with performance results that become a benchmark against which any other design is evaluated.

The obvious distinction is its feature of 4-wheel steering, not available in the Humvee.

  • @DanieruShidebuteru true, you made a point there, but that is about tanks, they're built different. but that doesnt change the fact that this truck looks just like our humvee...the way they built military cars are different from they way the built tanks, tanks are built in one way because the design is made to not let bullets or bombs in, so they are all shape the same..military cars dont have to be to same design..It looks like a Humvee

  • @fran21ish

I do see your point. The tank illustration may be a bit too far-fetched as the specialised functions of tanks do not leave much room for form over function. Yes, I do concur it looks like a Hummer but it's the connotation and implied meaning of that phrase which I do not agree.

Take for example, the venerable Jeep of WWII. There's no doubt that the Jeep was a breakthrough in terms of opening a new level of crew mobility which previously was not available or even thought of.

  • @fran21ish

It is also true, that the functional demand of such vehicles are now feasible in the military, inspiring vehicles such as Russia's GAZ-64/67 and the British' own Land Rover I, whose resemblance to the Jeep is obvious. Though "similar" in a way, they are different in many respects. You know what I mean??

No doubt, Hummers open up new frontiers in terms of crew mobility and new benchmarks in light transport capabilities of the military. So in a way, yes, they do "copy" it.

  • @fran21ish

Thank's for your comments!! Greatly appreciated.

  • もう生産終わったんだよな 残念。

  • Awesome XD

  • Looks like an American Hummer.

  • @SPS148669 id say it looks more like a japanese hummer

  • Are they still making these for japanese military?
