Does the boss cloaking and release of plasma bomblets only occur on the higher difficulties? I remember playing this a long time ago on the easiest difficulty and I didn't recall the boss cloaking.

I remember the first time I beat this boss. My shields were almost gone but I got him... Then the PIGs it spawns killed me, man I was so pissed.

Nice moves, reminds me of the Sidewinder 3d pro joystick - the ultimate Descent tool. Are joysticks in general even available at all anymore? :)

This boss is actually immune to energy weps, it shoots those plasma blobs when its hit with engery eps. use gauss cannon and conc missles
