  • D E G are such a great band at make u feel something

  • i loved this song...and i will forever...

  • that black screeen scares me. im just waitin for a face to pop up

  • I want that instrumental. :o

  • Questa canzone è atroce.

  • wht language is this band sing? japaniese? spanish? german? ect?

  • @GothicGwen153 they're singing japanese and sometimes english phrases. also they have (i think) 2 songs in which they sing a few words german; but they're from japan^^

  • Lying about being pregnant is so carefree

The drowning tears in the pool made by a razor, taste vaguely sweet

The gloomy tomorrow has already died

I hated myself for not being able to forgive the tears, the lies and the love

    But I can't go back

It's going far away, unable to reach

I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears

It just echoes beyond the red sky in the background

The cries can not be... heard anymore

    ;)

  • Thorns coiled around the sun Regret melts with the mixture of a sigh I spit and laugh at the dreams I've seen enough of The hearts of men eaten by loneliness grows cruelly It melts into the layers of white Undesired The shattered truth means the opposite Love to the smile The gloomy morning has already died It's going far away, unable to reach I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears...
  • Does this song remind anybody of Buck Tick's style, or is it just me.

  • There is another version to "Conceived Sorrow" that I do actually prefer over this one, but nonetheless it still has that bonechilling effect on me.

  • fucking great song.. does anyone know dark, depressive songs similar to this?

  • what are you talking about?? :S this song is so far from dark and depressive as they could get... this is beautiful :O even though I don't know the lyrics, and what they mean, I really find this song one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard

  • The lyrics are actually pretty sad. If you could understand, it'd be even more beautiful. I don't feel like translating, so ask a friend that can or something.

  • lol exactly..the lyrics for most of dir en grey songs are depressing. thats why i dont like e. but this is a good song.

  • There are several. You do have to do a little bit of searching though. That's the advantage of listening to every genre.

  • Their song Embryo is pretty great. ._.

There are plenty. Dir en Grey has some great songs... like their song Obscure.

And I don't think this song is so dark or depressing.

  • If you are looking just for Diru ~

    The Pledge

    Kodou

  • Not quite parkdiru66 Dir en grey is just #1 period.

  • Dir en Grey is the No.1 of j-rock.

  • *cringe* this song is so full of pain. Hearing it live is truly...there are no words *shakes head* This is truly an amazing band. Dir en grey Fighting!

  • I saw them live...they were so amazing! Kyo has so much talent and so much emotion on stage.

  • I know. And they get better every time, too. I've seen them three times, but the most recent was the best. Kyo was INCREDIBLE. At one point he did this acapella thing with the lights low and one light shinning up from below his crate. He basically crouched on the crate and dragged the mike across it. I got two amazing pics in that moment. mm. He just has amazing stage presence lol

  • Yea totally. That sounds like so much awesomeness!! I've seen em once but been a fan for like...five years now? They went to Dallas for their "The Rose Trims Again" tour; that's when I saw them. Kyo is so tight on stage when he acts like a snake, you know like moving his body slowly like one?

    It's too cool.

  • Awesome Song!!

    DIRU!!

  • it was only 9.99 at fye when it first came out.... o:

  • Ha that's where I got mine too lol!!!^_^

  • i saw them live, they did this song, it was amazing, even to watch him sing this.

  • my soul...is like being drowned in the deepest corners of wherever. lol i fawkin love this song!!!

  • i so sad...beautiful sad is my favorite kind...i hate uglysad. Kyo can make me feel almost every emotion, and so vividly, it'a absolutely amazing. yes, i capitalize Kyo on purpose, because he's more important than anything else.

  • The gloomy morning has already died

Ah It's going far away, unable to reach

I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears

    T.T

  • "thought Dir En Grey was surposed to be like...heavy metal-ish?" Diru tendt to switch from genre to genre. Personally i think its great since sometimes when you're trying to relax heavy music isn't the best :)

  • listen to child prey, saku, clever sleazoid, merciless cult... there's others but can't think of them now.

  • Sasuke shut up dude not everything can heavy to be good you should know that by now unless your a 12 year old headbanger who has to rely on his parents to take him to concerts because he can't drive

  • it's very intresting to me i have been a fan since i first heard them in 97 but all of their music i like

  • AAAH! Tonight! Dir en Grey live in Stockholm! <3

  • Omdz Tomoz Direngrey live ahhh

  • cant wait to see them live!

  • This songs is at a higher level than Ain't Afraid to Die. That's quite an accomplishment.

  • I can't understand a word of it, but this has become one of my absolute most favourite songs. Amazingly emotional. Thank you so much for sharing it!

  • Oh God! sooooooooo goooood this song..thanks!

  • I am very impressed with this song.

I haven't liked as much of their new stuff and got a little depressed about it (because I was so attached to them) but this is really good. It's all wonderful, the vocals, the composition. It's not just a nice song but it's...unusual, too. I liked thing like Kodou but they felt a little affected to me. I really love this song.

  • I love this song. I like the way Diru changes. They have their own style and thankfully in each album there's something new, original. Oy, you Polish fans out there! 12.08.2007 Dir en Grey will give concert in Poland!

  • I love Dir en grey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p thx for this song..I like it<3

  • Shinya may have written the piano stuff, but Kyo plays piano, so he most likely played. Kyo wrote the song, as he usually does. Its a very beautiful piece, teh best on the cd if I do say so myself

  • what album is coming out on 7.2.07? Whats it called?

  • lol, its called The Marrow of a Bone, and is for sale for a while now... (at least in japan, I dunno anywhere else) I bought it here, its very, very, VERY good!! I love each and every song, its an amazing album! You`d better buy it beeyatch! XD lol sorry

  • its avalible at hot topic and virgin mega store ^_^

  • to order this cd it will cost me 95 bucks!!! stupid hmv

  • itunes it beyatch\???

  • Really?

I ordered mine from Borders for only 16.99, or 14.99 i think.

It's really awesome! Every singel song.

  • This song makes me want to cry..O-O. This song is so emotional...just love it. Thank you for putting this up! tear tear^^

  • my favourite song <3

  • you got it from Limewire, Yeah, Perfectly Legal, Lol.

  • Just a hunch, but I'd assume it was Shinya who composed the piano piece... being a percussion player and all. Just as well, I -think- he composed the piano piece for Jealous Reverse, so it'd only be natural that it'd be him I guess..

  • Thanks ^_~

  • NO U STUPID FUCK ITS DIE U DUMB FUCK

  • Please, who write and play the piano part?It so beautiful ...

  • You got to love it! XD

  • Dir en Grey is so awesome. Even if they though where bettet before, they are love <3

  • cannot wait till I have my cd.. I ordered it, but I still haven't got it -_-

this was the first song I heard of the new album. don't remember where I heard it, I think it was on some website ^^

    <33 the song

  • i love this song, i had NEVER heard this band before, but then suddenly, it was my birthday(no shit):P

and my sister had sent me a gift(she lives in france)

i opened it right away, and inside, guess what...direngrey's album "marrow of a bone" (no shitt again:P) and i got curious on how they was so i put the album on my stereo right away, and i actually liked them(cuz i like this kinda musik, this is just a slow,

  • typed too many char's^^

this is just a slow version of their songs,

so i LOVE the band, and this song fits in, since i was in my grandpa's funeral yesterday

  • oh this song is so sad...

    i love it...

  • Any UK fans about? You'll be pleased to know that they're coming here, to the UK!!! It's true! They're coming on the 2nd of August, Carling Academy, London, Ticket prices are yet to be confirmed. WATCH THIS SPACE! Whoooo Hoooo!

  • Yeah i myself am from the uk, i will be at that concert ^^ cant wait!! got my tickets confirmed on pre-order with the carling academy islington i am so psyched to see them here !!

  • Pre-order? I should do that! Yay! However, I heard that the venue is rather small and cramped, so they might change the venue, not sure. But if they do the tickets should still be valid.

  • Oh I forgot to ask you, where did you pre-book your tickets? Because I think I should do that also, I would hate it if I missed out!

  • You should give carling academy islington a call and ask them about the concert, they wont give you much information now, but they will ask you for your name and phone number and they will call you when the tickets are on sale, trust me when these guys say they'll call you back as soon as the tickets are on sale, they will i guarantee it. But they will only take names and numbers for a limited amount of people so you'd best call quick. Hope that helped ^^

  • That's great, thank you!

  • i love withering to death, so i should like this album too, or? o.o xD

  • They're getting better at english (titles).

  • This song is so beautiful. <3333

  • @__@ <33

  • She's so beautiful

    I love this song !

  • she? who is she?

  • Whose she??

  • Thorns coiled around the sun Regret melts with the mixture of a sigh I spit and laugh at the dreams I've seen enough of The hearts of men eaten by lonliness grows cruelly It melts into the layers of white Undesired The shattered truth means the opposite Love to the smile The gloomy morning has already died It's going far away, unable to reach I want to fall asleep in the innocent gentleness with the tears
  • are these the lyrics?

  • part of 'em I couldn't get the rest to fit.

  • omg my heart is bursting, this is like when i first discovered Dir en Grey, it's like i'm rediscovering them again, this new CD is wonderful

  • I totally agree, i'm so touched, i thought this cd would not be as good as their old stuff but i love it from what ive heard so far

  • Dieses Lied... Ich fang jedes mal an zu weinen wenn ichs hör... So wunderschön, einfach unbeschreiblich

  • Kyo's voice is so full of emotions that you cant avoid to feel it and get affected by it. Loved this new song. but it got me also kinda sad, dont know why. what is it about?

  • This song is beautiful. Sometimes I like the slower songs without screaming more, sometimes.

  • I feel that songs w/ nothing but screaming are never as good as those that used it less. W/ Saku, the song was redeeming w/ the sung choruses & the screaming fit the emotion. Kyo's screaming in songs is fine & totally up to him on how he wants to do the song, but songs w/ nothing but screaming for me lose their emotion than when it's in smaller doses & more effective, such as in "24 Ko". It adds to the emotion rather than diminishes it when it's nothing but screaming, IMHO. XD I'm weird.

  • Thanks for the information on the song. ^_^ About how many songs are like this one on the album, and how many are like "Grief" and "Maggots"? I don't mind heavy Diru (in fact I love them when they let loose), but I just hope there's some diversity, and not just Kyo screaming his vocal chords out with reckless abandon on nearly every song. (Which is my fear.)

  • theres 3 totally calm songs on the album and i would say 4 songs which are combinations of singing and screaming. And yes I remember that time when kyo was hospitalized during tour 06 with inflamed vocal chords he was lucky that time....

  • Don't know what's Kyo singing, but my heart aches everytime I her this song. It;s so fucking awsome.

  • I have a random question to anyone who has heard the entirety of the album. (My CD got delayed...ah well. I can just listen to this song until it arrives and I'll probably learn the whole thing!) Anyway, my question was: Is the song "Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tamerai ni Hohoemi" any good? Somehow, I've always believed that after "Higeki..." that songs in their native language and really long must be good. Anyone know?

  • yeah its a really good song, played on the acoustic guitar. Much like this song it is calm but very energetic lyrics no screaming though and can be compared to "undecided" or "mushi" you will love the song.

  • In my opinion Namamekashiki is one of the best songs I've heard from them in a long time.

  • This is the old dir en grey, but with more experiance! i adore this song! i was so afraid that the whole new cd was going to be all english and this calmed those fears....kirei...totemo kirei

  • I adore this song. In my opinion it really shows what Kyo is capable of doing still. I think it's my favorite thus far for their new album.

Thank you for posting this! I've been wanting to hear the entire thing since I heard the teaser a while back. Such a good song!

  • "Mazohyst of Decadence" & "The Final": intro & outro had Middle Eastern subtleties;

    "audience killer loop" & "Gyakujoutannou Keloidmilk" slight traditional Asian intros;

    MACABRE: Russian tracklisting, chanting on "Diety";

    GAUZE: German tracklisting, in "Schwein No Isu";

    ETC.

For all of this fuss about DeG becoming Americanized, this is a band who always had the artistic integretity to create their unique sound from a myriad of cultures, not just American.

  • this is the perfect track to open the album to, this album is the best i've seen so far, and i have every single thing they've ever released, EPs DVDs singles the lot!

  • Why do people really care if they're "Westernized" or not? I don't think their music has changed for the worse -- "Marrow of a Bone" is one of the band's greatest artistic achievements, IMHO. I think people are just a bit insecure about Dir En Grey not being "exclusive" to just Japan anymore and it's just pathetic to let something like that ruin your love for the band. It's just a childish mindset to have.

  • People need to realize that before anything, they are a group of musicians and so have the right to change whatever style they wish in order to explore the depths of their talents. This involves reaching out to a wider audience, which is precisely what Dir En Grey is doing. There's nothing wrong with that. People need to stop thinking that the band is playing solely for "them." The band doesn't have to meet the expectations of what anybody wants -- THAT would be selling out.

  • yeah, thats true. dir en grey has said that they dont play to reach a wider audience, but they play to develop and to learn things about themselves. of course they love their fans, but they dont make music that are "americanized" to reach a wider audience. i respect dir en grey with all my heart, and the marrow of a bone was excellent as expected.

  • damn this song is sick dude

its my fave song on there new cd

  • This is my favey song too off there new cd (which i BOUGHT HarveyAhern...jk lol)

  • dude you ROCK for doing this.

  • I love Diru foreeveeer.

  • been into jrock and dir en grey

    from Kisou period from 16yo

i am 21 now i've heard every riff

every drumm and every vocal chord

dir en grey had to offer i loved it

    and love it still

    DEG 4 EVER

  • ok let me explain

    when i was 14 y.o i listened to Static-X

but with time i got sick of them

every new album i was expecting something new but i got

same sound , same vocals , same guitar distortion

same music , and everythiing become very boring

like a loop . but with dir en grey

its totaly diffrent story , i think you can undestand my point

  • yeah, totally understand and agree.

dir en grey deserves all the respect they can get.

  • Alot of people think that Dir en grey is "Americanized" because they went to America and their music is changing but I love how they change their music because if they didn't then all their music would sound the same like alot of American bands.. so honestly they are not "Americanized" they just have some Western influences.

  • I have to agree to that although most of the songs on this album sound very western. I am glad they say that this is just a transitory period for diru, they haven't reached a point where they stop changing yet.
