  • best robing plan ever

  • One of the best movies ever ....Heath Ledger was a genius .... such amazing acting ....

  • Wow 19 up votes for "thats the plan" how fucked up is that.

  • PAUSE AT 2:01

when he said "that's funny it is dailing out to try to reach a private number"

is that batman's hidden number? and that's how he finds out about banks and stuff being broken into?

  • @xx840 no it was a mob bank. So it was dialing to a mob number. Batman is the "world's greatest detective" so he knows everything ;)

  • I dont remember the scenes from 5;51 and 5;58 and at 5:46 dat looks like the armors off ronin warriors 5;58 is dat how TDKR is going to begin

  • did they relay do a prologue for this movie when it came it

  • @IndeclineKills Yes! In 2007 this was featured on IMAX screens with I Am Legend showings.

  • Nvm I had my clowns mixed up

  • ... I wonder who Grumpy was supposed to kill...

  • Instant Classic !

  • Why does the Joker always look like he's fucking bored? Makes me bored watching this movie.

  • cant wait for this movie to come out lol

  • @cgshreryy It's out for 4 years now lol

  • Thumbs if you went to watch MI4 just to see the TDK Rises prologue! when the prologue was not presented you did not enjoy MI4 as you expected. Jajajaj

  • @vongoku MI 4 was actually decent. BTW that is the only IMAX movie of 2011

  • @clix411 The manager also killed the security guard. And he couldn't shoot the Joker because he was dying when he lay on the ground.

  • Anyone ever notice there's footage of the Tumbler in the "bat-bunker" that was never used in the final version of the film? The part where it's racing into a U-turn to leave.

  • @bbtank3000 Pretty much all trailers use footage you never see in their movies anyway.

  • Masterpiece !

  • So, what was the bus driver behind the joker's bus thinking?

  • @KingdomPete it's the beginning of "aggressive expansion". It's on my video (a Lego bane).

  • 2:50 I loved the irony of having William Fichtner in another bank heist movie and this time, he's mad because they're stealing the money. Something about this sounds so similar haha!

  • but if you want to see the dark knight rises prologue go see it on solarmovie.eu

  • it is so funny how they hire robbers and that they kill each other in this movie

  • This part is so epic, that even the way the banker's legs look awesome. Just look how his legs move at 2:47

  • @theExtreme1man yes they do they just come right after Joker leaves

  • thats the problem wit gotham city. ppl see a skool bus pulling out of a bank and they dont even bother to call the police

  • Question, before that one goon is shot in the back by the manager... he was holding a gun... and hit, didnt knock out, but hit a security guard... why didnt the security guard grab the gun when he hit the ground and help the manager haha OR when the Joker killed the last goon and said his line to the manager... he could have shot the Joker, now I didnt want that to happen but that really is just a huge mistake I believe

  • Where did they show the prologue of this movie?

  • saw MI4 in IMAX today. No clip. Please respond explaining why.

  • @ShariyarG They are only playing the prologue in select IMAX theaters not all of them.

Here's a link where you can check out the theaters

  • @thehound120 they only put the proluge in 70mm IMAX screens (the huge ones) not in digital IMAX screens (small ones and arent so good). you can go to IMAX.com and see were 70mm screens are located in your area. i went to a digital IMAX screen because they dont have a 70mm screen near were i live and they did NOT put the dark knight rise proluge... same thing happend to me.

  • @IMAXhead98 oppss wrong person sorry

  • @ShariyarG dude only 30 some theatres in the WHOLE COUNTRY have 70mm IMAX..... NOLan is a douche.

  • @pnroyal

When I got this in DVD it came with a little magazine and u could buy a bunch of crap and it had the mask

  • Where'd you get this?

  • @charliespringmusic it's an extra on the Batman Begins Blu-Ray...not exactly rare

  • classic!!!!.....d legend is back

  • at 5:35, how come nobody noticed a bus backing of of the fucking building?

  • when the joker shoots the guy with the shotgun... you can visibly see no bullet holes in his shirt, let alone any blood.. it's a big mistake on nolans part. Should have at least put holes in his shirt...............

  • Comment removed

  • @TheGrizzzle He shoots him in the right leg.

  • @TheGrizzzle Yeah man theirs a lot of mistakes in this clip.

  • what was in the gas grenade?...I mean, was it lethal?

  • @kev565able I never really got that moment with the grenade, but I think it's safe to assume it was non-lethal, a twisted joke of the Joker's.

  • can't wait for this

  • After seeing this scene on december 28, 2007, i knew right then and there that Heath could win an oscar for his protrayal of the joker. I wasn't a fan of comic book movies, but I loved crime thrillers like Heat and the Silence of the Lambs, and if Hopkins could win an oscar with 16 minutes of screen time, Heath could win to because he had ALREADY left an impact on me in the theater.

RIP Heath Ledger; You earned the award for your performance, not because of your death!!!

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS Hey! this is look like the same as the movie, and plus how you got the video?

  • I hated the dialogue from the criminals in this prologue...anyone else? I wish they would have cut the dialougue until they got into the bank would have been creepier...but thats why I am not Nolan :(

  • Such an awesome movie. Can't wait to see how Nolan out does this one with tdkr.

  • Both Prologues are amazing

  • i cnt wait for this movieeeeeeee

  • @461guy u do know that this movie has been out for like 3 years ago right?

  • @creedjeremy say whatttttttttt??

  • Does anyone know where I can buy a replica mask like what the Jokers thugs wore in this scene? It would make a great Halloween costume...

  • THE DARK KNIGHT RISES TRAILER RIGHT HERE BOYS AND GIRLS!!

    /watch ?v=GokKUqLcvD8

  • who else thought it was the prologue for Rises? -_-

  • @jork15 I didn't..

  • The dark knight rises is gonna be a good movie but I did not like the prologue. It was too over the top and cheesy.

  • I tell you what this entire scene is so cool because a successful bank robbery takes place; what makes it even MORE BADASS is that the Joker methodically had all of the goons kill eachother, he only had to kill the last guy after he loaded the money for him ROFLMAO!!!

  • The TDKR prologue is so much better than this. TDKR is going to be amazing!

  • @EliteF50

You gotta be shittin me. TDKR prologue is terrific, but this opening here is iconic and about a million times better. The Joker > Bane.

  • @KillSwitch2

We haven't seen that much of Bane, aside the second trailer and obviously the Prologue, unless you've been following some of the leaked footage of him on set. =]

Joker and Bane offer completely different types of villain too,and as much as I loved Joker I am really excited to see exactly what Bane has planned for Batman and Gotham.

  • @KillSwitch2 I disagree completely. TDKR's opening is much more intense, epic and large scale. Besides, Nolan's Bane is more bad-ass than Nolan's Joker.

  • @KillSwitch2 Says the guy who hasn't seen the movie yet.

  • Does anybody know the piece of music that play's during the montage of clips at the end of this? It's where you see quick flashes from the film.Been trying to find the name for ages.

  • @KingdomPete Aggressive Expansion from TDK OST

  • @balincina

    ^__^ Thank you :D

  • I have watched this movie a billion times but I still don't get why does the guy keep the thing in his mouth. (also is it a smoke grenade or like laughing gas)? Help me out please

  • @Darkmatterman97 i think it is a smoke grenade and it is so big one needs to get it out from his mouth using his hands, and that guy has been shot so he simply can't do it.

  • I'm no Nolan or Batman fan boy. But watching the Dark Knight rises prologue in real IMAX was absolutely fucking biblical. You don't experience as much bass, sound and visual experience on a ride at Universal. It is worth 17 dollars watching by it self and is truly amazing. I'm at loss for words..

  • I saw this when I went to go see I am Legend in IMAX, I actually didn't realize it was a batman skit until I heard the name Joker.

  • so are they still showing it it?

  • Thumbs up if you remember this in theaters!!!! :D

  • So the prologue is basically the old Dark Knight movie.... Nothing to do with dark knight rises.... Waste of time.

  • @corporalcharlie This isn't the new prologue you fool. Read again "The Dark knight Prologue" not "The dark knight rises". The prologue of TDKR is actually the first 6 minutes from it.

  • I just can't get over the bus thing! The other buses don't seem to care about one reversing out of a bank. People on the other side of the street don't even seem to notice and the police who are right there seem to miss a buss covered in the dust and probably badly damaged going right past them!

  • @bandwicker And there are no children on any of the buses! It's all a fraud!

  • I also saw TDKR prologue thanks to Operation Early Bird, and it was amazing. Watch it in IMAX as bootlegs do not compare to it. Pay close attention to the dialogue. You may have to watch it several times to get a good sense of what is going on.

Also, Bane's voice is PERFECT. I had no trouble with it and Tom Hardy's cold and evil acting is over the top...he may top the Joker.

  • @TonyAKA30 agreed, Tom Hardy was AMAZING.

  • @TonyAKA30 I agree 100%.I loved Bane's voice

  • @TonyAKA30 No Batman villain can top The Joker.. As amazing as Bane is, and as promising as Tom Hardy's role looks, The Joker is always the best Batman villain.. And Heath Ledger portrayed him amazingly well.. Still looking forward to TDKR, looks bloody promising.. I'm sure it will contend with Batman Begins..

  • @TonyAKA30 I saw the prologue too, what do you mean by pay attention to the dialogue? is there something that i missed.

  • @lion55 What I meant was that there is a lot going on for a brief 6 minutes and by carefully listening to the dialogue one might get a better sense of the context behind the plane heist, tho a lot of questions remian to be answered. Also, some folks might have trouble with Bane's dialogue, I personally love it, but I had to re-listen to some of his lines to better understand. If you understood everything in one shot, well then you are awesome!

  • Looking at the sizzle reel for both Prologues, now, it's amazing how much more of the film we see in DKR's than in TDK.

  • Hey there everyone,

I have had more than one person ask if I am going to post the Rises Prologue. The answer is No, I believe that is something that MUST be experienced in IMAX 70mm, not some crappy bootleg.

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS well i live in alabama and there are no imax shows around so yeahhh..

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS lol i can barely understand it even in IMAX

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS Yeah and those who live for example in middle of europe can fuck themselves, because there are no screenings only in Great Britain. I feel a little bit negatively discriminated.

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS really...really...it's funny how there are purists on something so friggin' trivial. I hope your are this dedicated to something that actually has meaning.

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS kinda hard to experience it in IMAX when they are only showing those IMAX prologue in america and the UK!!! so what does the rest of us have to do? i would rather watch a bootleg with good audio then wath nothing at all!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS I agree brother!

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS yeh well you can go fuck youself we aren't all nerds here

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS You should post the Prologue for the Dark Knight Rises in one year tho... In HD just like you did for this :)

  • @Zegstasis That's the plan! :)

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS or someone will beat you to it...

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS forget one year do it five months during the release of the dvd

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS To bad they don't show the prologue in europe :( the only way to see it is the bootleg.

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS I understand why, but mission impossible? why could there not be a better movie to see.... anyways, is it as badass? i mean the prologue

  • @Zegstasis This is'nt nearly HD!

  • @ChaosEntRETURNS Don't have any 70mm IMAX in my state. Few do. only 30 some theatres in the whole country do.

  • I was lucky enough to be a part of "operation early bird" and watched the prologue to The Dark Knight Rises one hour ago. Note: if you have vertigo, beware =]]]]]]]]]]]]]

  • Please someone who is going to go see M:I-4 Take a camera with you and share.

  • Am I the only one to get back to watch this just because The Dark Knight Rises prologue is out in two days?

  • @FandeJay yes

  • @FandeJay Nope.

  • I can't wait!

  • This was one of the most amazing scenes I've seen on the IMAX screen ever.

  • Does it have to be the midnight release for MI3 or can I go on the 16th and see it?

  • I forgot the last image of the montage was the smashing of the bat signal. That makes me really curious to know why will happen when supposedly [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER]

The final image of the Dark Knight Rises montage is of Bane throwing the batman mask to the ground and smashing it

  • @MrNicetomeetya most likely the beginning of the movie when Bane beats him up in their first encounter

  • @alwaysflyalwaysfresh its bane being captured as plan and taking dr pavel away from CIA...

  • @twiztid4life yea I know Bane sounds great

  • Comment removed

  • Like how the other school buses don't seem to care that one of them just reversed into a building...

  • does anyone know when the dark knight rises prolouge will be released on youtube?

  • @DariushUFC1985 I doubt it will be officially released in HD on the internet. Maybe someone will upload a bootleg if they are able to record it during the screenings of the prolouge.

  • @DariushUFC1985 today, or tongiht

  • Will you sir be uploading the Dark Knight Rises prologue with same quality too? If so, you have given me my Christmas gift...

  • This was the prologue? This was the actual movie

  • @alexmtz44 Yes the first six minutes of the movie was the prolouge. They will do the same with TDKR, they will show the first 6 minutes of the movie with Mission Impossible 4 in Imax screens.

  • @Inception4ever

Hah, I was just about to search what theatres AZ were showing it.

Still wish it was Harkins though.

AMC is overpriced and has shit screens.

They hardly ever card you though. Not that it matters to me now that in older than seventeen.

  • Man, after TDKR prologue is done, they have to have a little mini trailer like they did here. Thank god i'm going to see it here in Arizona(i know it'll be a 40-minute drive from here in Tucson to Phoenix, but it'll be worth it). Plus, i'm seeing Sherlock Holmes 2 the same day and that will have the theatrical trailer!

  • @JesusInNike23 yea well there only showing the prologue in like 20 theatres in the US and theres not one in my FUCKEn state. just awesome. gonna have to watch a dogshit youtube upload....................

  • @TheGrizzzle Its actually 32 states in the US. Btw, where do you live?

  • @inception4ever Colorado. not playing here. fucken horse shit.

  • I know I probably wont get to see it, but I want a prequel graphic book detailing the origins of this version of the Joker and possible a finaly comic book detailing Joker's life in Arkham. Oh hell, I want a serries of graphic novels base on this Nolanverse batman movies, with slightly realistic versions of the bat's greatest enomies

  • hey is harkins theater an imax

  • Why not in HD?

  • why was this vid so hard to find >.>

  • @tenerenceloove I KNOW I DIDNT REALIZE THEY HAD A PROLOGUE UNTIL I HEARD about the dark knight rises sequel

  • THE DARK KNIGHT RISES PROLOGUE ATTACHED TO MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL THIS DECEMBER 16TH!!!! ONLY IN IMAX!!

  • @peteagassi And by IMAX i mean real IMAX theaters...70mm.....

  • @peteagassi prologue is set to be shown today... i already seen it myself...

  • @twiztid4life It was an early screening for those who participated in Operation Early Bird, which was like a viral thing... for general audiences, Dec. 16th is the date. And when we'll probably get more leaks, because I've early heard audio so far.

  • @peteagassi I've already seen it and it's incredible!
