It's common sense, you idiot! If you're going to talk on your cellphone, don't drive! If you're going to drive, don't talk on your cellphone. Turn off the phone, or at least the noise so that you won't distract from driving.
I mean, I know driving while you're on the phone is f***ed up, but even if you weren't, it's still your fault. It's always the driver's fault no matter how dumb the peds are. GREATISNTIT!
People say mobiles kill, yet my mate's Range Rover has enough distractions on the dashboard to keep you entertained for hours on end. GPS, interactive computer systems to adjust the suspension firmness in your car or whatever, complex as on screen radio, mp3 player, etc. And it's not just the Rangey either, check out the interior of things like the 5 series BMW and even small cars nowadays.
On the other hand, my 97' Saab convertible has seats and a steering wheel. Bout it.
last may i was in car accident while my parents with my in the car. The cause of accident was i got a text msg took me few secs then bang hit turning car on red light still lucky enough we were fine because of car safety rated very perfect at about 75ks per hour which could been worse since than i never do it.Dont risk it people be wise when driving urself and others
The kid clearly didnt do his homework, parents got angry at him, which led to depression in the child which led to lil jon boy to throw his stupid little fukhead self into oncoming traffic, natural selection some would say... the lady is fine, coz its my girlfriend.
Okay, now that surely is the kid's fault. IN ANY OTHER SITUATION it would've been the drivers fault, but what kinda kid would dart right into a car KNOWING that there was a car approaching? Still, driving while talking on your mobile kills.
lol...alot of you will be saying (have been) that its the kids fault. Yes it is. Remove the phone and the chance is she'll brake and turn away from him
50% chance she'll only suffer from shock while another %50 chance she'll lose control cuz its a female. all in all noone will die
How about responsibility for one's own actions? You can't blame a car driver if someone decides to cross the road without looking. Narrow minded views like yours contribute to casualties, not 5km/h less.
@wuzzlevideos: A couple of years ago, Dr. Phil, an American talk show host, featured a mom and daughter, where the issue was the latter's obsession with texting while driving. He reminds the daughter that her obsession has already caught up with her. The video can be found by typing in e.g. "dr phil texting while driving" or something similar.
that was probably the most accurate ad so far apart from the fact that you can't really avoid children who haven't been taught to check both ways before venturing out onto a road
what some idiot commenters are forgetting when they write there comments.. THIS IS A COMMERICAL! kids usually look before crossing the road! THIS IS ABOUT PAYING ATTENSION TO DRIVING.
jonathan is not really... i repeat... jonathan is not REAL!
so think before you leave comments saying, "the stupid kid shuldnt of jumped out infront of the care"
Are you just TRYING to be the biggest troll in the world. The other two comments you left have some merit and can be debated, but this one is nonsensical, given the topic of the advert.
i totally agree that when driving you need to pay full attention to the road. But this looked like she wouldnt have had time to react anyway. That kid came flying out in front of her.
frig its not the woman who should look out like common ooh its jonathan now im gunna look back at the road now lalalalalala clunk. oh damnit! i killed another kid who didnt stop to look both sides. now i gotta explain to his mum n dad why he jumped in front of my car and got killed!
I'm struggling to comprehend what the hell you're talking about. You can't seriously be saying that it's fine to not pay full attention to the road. I'd be able to tell what you were going on about if you could type better than a 8 year old. Although, this is Youtube, home of the retards, so I shouldn't expect anything more really.
ok, the real moral of this commercial (like most others) should be that little kids need to freakin look both ways. getting hit by cars is gods way of weeding out the stupid ones

one of who?
swanny812 2 years ago
One of those people who believes that no responsibility should ever fall on the driver, regardless of whatever reckless actions they're taking.
Or maybe I'm jumping the gun.

alright. then go kill a kid with your car and tell the judge about your interesting point of view. also the parents will be pleased to listen to it.

Not necessarily. You may have been able to stop or slow down and not him as hard. Notice she was still looking at her phone even when she hit him.
