I can't see my SD card. I can see the USB I used to load GParted. XDA peoples are telling me to do a recovery instead of showing me how to get GParted to recognise my SD card so I can partition it. NOOB proof...definately far from it.
Hi, been following your excellent guide on XDA forums, I noticed your using EXT4 partition, the rom I'm planning on using recommend's EXT3 so I googled to see what the difference was. Both 3 and 4 can shorten the life of your SD card (increased writes), especially EXT4. I was going to post some links to the info, but it seems links are not allowed.
Hi there, great video guides. My question is, will I need to do this for my GSM HTC Desire (CM7) after S-Off? People say that the partitions via AlphaRev are more recommended than other methods. Could you post a guide or response in relation to partitioning after S-Off? I am kinda new to all this so excuse the basic questions.
If anyone is having trouble with this that just use clockwork recovery, it is a lot simpler tbh
