The National Emergency Alert System EAS FEMA Test

It's very interesting to see how much traffic this is getting in relation to our other videos here. So what can we learn from this? Maybe it's that we could use Youtube to reach a wider audience by talking about more national events.

Facebook could be for connecting with University of Findlay people.

Twitter could be for UofF people and people at other universities.

Youtube could be for reaching a more diverse group based on searches and related videos.

I didn't get to see this. For whatever reason, my cable system switched the channel to QVC three times in the span of about 2 minutes, but no warning messages popped up. I took it to mean that they wanted to broadcast an EAS for the economy.

I usually scoff at anything Washington DC attempts, but this one gets the scoff award. Why the hell would they do something like this? Do they know about an impending doom for the nation? Is the Mother Ship finally coming to take us all home? Is Jimmy Carter going to run for President again? Why would they do this?

The best part is where I live aside from all the clear errors with audio overlays and the tone continuing in the background of the audio, the meassage cut off before it was over.
