Hey lethalperf, I'm up in Tallahassee and I'm just drooling! I want to build one too! Along those lines, what redline is this beast tuned to? 7K-ish? And with the head work, does still it make good power up there? Would love to see some dyno sheets.

Also I wondered which rods it has in it? I'd imagine Manely, but the H-beam forged, or I-beam billet? For the I-beam billet, I can never seem to nail down a consistent HP rating for those within the 5.4 platform. Manely publishes 750HP@8500RPM, but others claim upwards of 1200HP. Anyone know where there is hard data (e.g. finite element analysis, CAD-simulation, etc.) or something that would give a better idea?

In defense of the supra though, I bet the supra handles better on the track (unless its pegged out with enormous, nearly uncontrollable turbos). But nothing a Griggs racing SLA suspension, good for 1.55 lateral peak Gs, couldn't handle, mwahahaha!

ok, how much would this setup cost an ordinary guy like me? I've got an 07 427r with built motor putting 618 to the wheels on a mustang dyno and just bought a 2010 gt500 (same color as yours) and would like to upgrade it.

is it still the DOHC 4 Valve 5.4L? is it similar to the Dry sump all aluminum 5.4 found in the Ford GT supercar?

It's different on a few things, but essentially, it's a cast iron block on the GT500's, as compared to an all aluminum motor on the GT. Still DOHC, but it uses different camshafts as well.

779rwhp on a Mustang Dyno means on a DynoJet the car would have made in the 860-880rwhp. We'll have plenty of other videos of the car on the street and the track soon.
