For everyone who keeps saying they failed because they left Ivan your wrong. Ivan wasn't helping them one bit with their 2nd album, and constantly kept it on hold. It was Sergio Galolyn and Elena Kiper who were the geniuses, not him.
@sodzee This isn't why they stopped singing. They stopped singing in 2010ish to focus on their own solo projects. They fired Ivan in 2003. They sang for seven more years after this.
i hope that you guys listen to those girls screaming in the studio out of music key, they are not singers at all a shame for the russian great singers, wow ivan is a incredible guy with computer effects,efter him any way no one did hire them for a new CD just make senses WHY???????
The songs full of metaphors and messages turned into songs that tried alittle too hard to sound 'deep'. The girls instantly fell off the map pretty much EVERYWHERE. Sure they had alittle blip on the radar every once in a while but it was nothing compared to 2002-2003 before they left Ivan. They had the world in their hands and they threw it all away to go record albums that I would trade without a second thought for atleast one more track similar to the ones from the first albums.
I mean come on, just listen to some of the demo's ivan was working on for the girls. Look up the song 'my love' or 'ya tvoya' by ivan and tell me those wouldn't have been amazing to have with the girls vocals instead of his own. The girls lost the interesting flair they had aswell. Yulia basically turned into some plastic surgery mishap and lena turned into a granny. They stopped fun performances with dancing to start singing live (not all that well too I might add.)
Why are people celebrating? Without Ivan they completely sank for me. The Albums released after his firing were nowhere near as good as the 200 Po Vstrechnoy and 200 KM/H In The Wrong Lane. Ivan was alittle twisted but he was brilliant. I mean look where they are now and where they have been. Delay after delay, stuck with a shitty record label. Nobody cares about tatu now. Ivan created them and as far as I am concerned they were never really tatu after he left.
