Ich habe diesen Film damals auf der Berlinale gesehen, in diesem fantastischen Riesenkino am Europacenter, das mittlerweile leider einem Großkaufhaus für Medienprodukte weichen musste. Mir stand der Atem still bei dieser Eingangssequenz, dazu noch auf einer derartigen Leinwand! Die Leute um mich herum sahen es leider nicht so... man quatschte, fraß Popcorn, kam zu spät und hinterher wurde nicht mit hämischen Kommentaren gegeizt. Ich hatte den Eindruck, ich sei von einem anderen Stern...

really like the mood with the time of the morning it is in LA. i see this colour in the sky in a lot of movies shot in LA....what time does the sky usually look like this?

You could catch a very cold dawn that looks like this for a while. However, in order to get all the shots, filters are used. Hence the dimmed window lights.
