  • Awesome video. thanks for making it

  • I like the simplicity of this one, I know that like older special needs children can use your songs to learn stuff too, I wouldn't be surprise if special education teachers used your songs too.

  • @bulletproofpunk I've been pleased to learn that even adults who are just beginning to learn English find these songs helpful in memorizing some of the basics.

  • My kid loves this video thanks

  • @MsCalderonk I'm so glad to hear it. Thanks for letting me know. I get pretty "beat up" sometimes by wisecracking tweens who have no idea about early childhood education, so it's nice to see a compliment.

  • very very very bad qualitation

  • @countpetike Qualitation? Very very bad English!

  • awwwwwwwwww

  • Cute =] I'm 18 and I gotta remember the English name of the days of the week so this kinda helps xD

  • @orenco I have to recite the days of the week in French until I come to the one I want to use in a sentence. I imagine it's the same for those whose native language isn't English.

  • @Grancie48 neh i'm not english and i don't have to go through all of them :),it's a matter of exercise i think

  • @orenco I do something similar when I need to get a day in French!

  • @Grancie48 Well this worked, 8 months passed and I know the days of the weeks, if it's thanks to you or not I can not re-call but anyway you have my appreciation.

  • God, Almighty has created the world (earth and sky) in 6 days...then took up his throne...He is omnipowerful and Does not experience any fatigue....so He didn't rest!! God Has made us Know Him through the completeness of his Beautiful Names..!!!............Thanks for the song...really nice!

  • my song my teacher sang was "days of the week ( clap Clap) x3 , Theres sunday and theres monday theres tuesday and theres wednesday Theres es thursadey and theres friday And then theres SATURDAY , Days of the week ( clap clap ) X3

  • @asilave515 I know the song to which you're referring. It's sung to the tune of the Addams Family TV show theme song. You can also snap your fingers in place of the claps. It's a fun song.

  • @asilave515 my bro and couzin love that song ....

  • wow this was good, i got so into it my son looked at me like i was crazy

  • @queenjizz From my experience as a mother, I would guess it wasn't and won't be the last time he looks at you like that.... :))

  • actually... before the calander was changed ... Saturday was and is the 7th day of the week. Its just that most churches couldnt be bothered going back to that as the day of observance!

  • Is it possible to have this song available in PowerPoint (free printable download)? I teach at a very religious school where any kind of video is not allowed. Also, I'm from Brazil.

Would it be possible for you to provide this material, please? Thank you very much!

  • yoaarnnnnnnnn. sleepy

  • wow.. it is a good start by weeks.. nice pleasent and simple..

  • I dont like the other words in the song

  • this is good for homeschooling children in early childhood

  • Thank you. Young children were originally my intended audience when I wrote these songs, but I have been pleasantly surprised to find that English language learners from around the world have also found them useful.

  • actually... before the calander was changed ... Saturday was and is the 7th day of the week. Its just that most churches couldnt be bothered going back to that as the day of observance!

  • my 2 year old loves this song:)

  • *clap clap* lol :D

  • i think its wierd how Sunday starts a week, yet God says its the last day creating stuff, so its the day of rest....shouldnt Sunday be the last day?

  • Many, maybe even most, countries use calendars that start on Monday. I like this mostly because it keeps the two weekend days together, making it easier to write in weekend plans.

However, in the U.S.A. calendars begin the week on Sunday, which is why this song puts the days in that order.

  • @KeswickCamp08

Actually the seventh/sabbath day is SATURDAY...The bible never called the Sabbath Sunday

  • @KeswickCamp08 actually Saturday is the 7th day of the week in which God rested, so Sunday is correctly the 1st day of the week.

  • @KeswickCamp08 actually... before the calander was changed ... Saturday was and is the 7th day of the week. Its just that most churches couldnt be bothered going back to that as the day of observance!

  • this song makes me sleepy (im on my sisters account) but this song makes me sleepy for some reason :D

  • My 4yo likes it some. She says there are too many words. It was cute though.

  • You might try writing the names of the days of the week, one under the other, on a piece of paper, then reciting (or singing) the days in order. After a few times, you could ask her to find "Monday", for example, then praise her ability to read it. Another activity might be for her to match strips of paper, each with one of the days on it, to the list containing all the days.

  • Thanks for this, just what I was looking for ... my 3yr old loves it and I know this will work as song is the best way to teach young kids.

  • I totally agree. I've forgotten many things over the years, but I can still sing the lyrics to songs from 40 and 50 years ago.

  • My 2 1/2 Month Old Son LOVES This Video.

It Always Calms Him Down & He Loves To Watch It As Well.

  • I'm so happy to hear it. Thanks for commenting.

  • I sing this everyday to my baby since she's 2 weeks old, now she's 9 weeks old & it calms her down when she's crying.

  • Music can be so useful in calming a child. My daughter would play a CD with instrumental lullabies every night when putting my grandson to bed. She packed that same CD wherever they went to keep his bedtime routine consistent.

  • ^^ la chanson anglais elle c'est pour les primaire ^^

  • I really like this video. The presentation makes learning the days of the week interesting...for my daughter, I mean. I already know the days of the week!

  • This is a great video. Not too overwhelming, catchy tune, built-in movement and I love the embedded social skills. I work with special needs preschoolers and this is great for them. Thanks so much for this!

  • You're very welcome. I'm glad it works for your class.

  • Did you ever teach in Reno by chance? Cause these songs sound strangely familiar....

  • No. Sorry.

  • this song is sang by micheal jackson

  • Thank you so much. It's fantastic song

  • lmfao im 13 and im addicted to it :L

  • very good song. i shall enjoy teaching this song to my little students (and I know they'll enjoy it too ^_^) thank you...

  • THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you so much for your work! I homeschool my son, and this song makes learning the days of the week easy & fun!

  • I'm glad you find this video useful. Depending on his age, your son may also begin to identify the words by sight. If I remember correctly, children can visually memorize around 60 words before they begin any phonics instruction. Isn't he lucky to have such a dedicated mother!

  • I know a better one ! but i am havin troublefinding it on youtube.

  • This is awesome. I will be using this with my little guy to teach him days of the week. Thank you for creating and sharing it!

  • I love your song! It's really sweet. I'm going to try to memorize it so I can sing it to my daughters, they love music!

  • Hi, your song is fantastic, and your voice is really sweet. I just wanted to ask you that can I please use your song in my GCSE IT project? Please reply, I will be very thankful to you. And thanks for sharing this video; it is really inspiring for the kids.

  • LOVE IT!!! Such a great song for little ones!

  • thanks, thanks very much!

  • can u sent me this song?

  • Why do you start with Sunday instead of Monday?

  • U.S. calendars start with Sunday. I do, however, see the merit in having the two weekend days listed side by side.

  • Did you sing this? If you did, you have a very talented voice. I am 12 years old and my sister is 1. She loves this video - whenever she hears the starting hum - she jumps up and down with joy! Thank you for sharing this! :)

  • Yes, I wrote and sang this song. Thanks for the compliment. I love using songs to teach children.

  • How do you think this will sound.. updated? The colours song had been updated.. maybe you can update this. Just put a bit of piano in the background - I think it will sound really nice. Think about it! :)

  • I do have an updated version on my DVD, but haven't posted it. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Did you sing this? If you did, you have a very nice voice. I am 12 years old, and I have a 1 year old sister - she loves this video. Whenever she hears the first hum, she jumps up and down, very excited. Lovely video! :D

  • How sweet! :)

  • My 5 yo triplets loved your song. They especially liked watching for the clapping icons!

  • Thank you for commenting. It must be a cute sight to see the 3 of them watching the video and clapping along.

  • i'm going to have nightmares of this voice.

  • Nice :) Thankyou!

  • I don't get it

  • The purpose of this video is to teach young children to recite, then later read, the days of the week. I used this song with kindergarten children.

  • whats after tuesday.... very good

  • Haha cool :D

  • The early learning skills for children remain the same. I think teachers/parents look for new material to teach these skills for their own sanity.

  • my baby girl is 8 months old and loves music. i played your songs and she likes them all. thanks for sharing

  • You're welcome. Music is such a great teaching tool for children.

  • Grancie48, I don't actually know THAT much of Japanese as I do of Korean. The song is a bit fast (sorry if I am being rude) and I have not spoken Korean for a long time so I have to think for a while of how to translate it into Korean. Sorry.

  • Oh how much fun that would have been if I were she!!!

  • tru dat

  • I'm a homeschooling mom who also teaches at a co-op. I love your song and I'm about to check our your colors song. You've done a great job. The video is nice as well to use as a tool to follow along. I'd buys a cd/dvd from you - even in this raw form. :) (meaning non-studio - your talent is awesome).

  • Very catchy song, I love it! I would even use the "Sunday, Monday..." part when teaching English as a second language, like the "Lunes, Martes..." song.

  • My son and I enjoy this video very much!
