i'm 10 we just went a GT felid trip to oklhaoma city bombing i'm very touched forever 100 years 20 yaers whatever! one person is all it takes (well techaneliy two)
ive been to the memorial at night and day the presentation i gotta tell you will scare you so bad you can hear the bomb go off i aint kidding all of the faces pop on the screen the doors open and well it is a very sad but buetiful place like the feild of empty chairs it was a magnificent cite but so very sad they left the sides of the foundation of the building it is buetiful
If the FBI would have dealt the Ruby Ridge case and the Waco situation in a harmless fucking way, I guess this bombing would not occur. Evil people are not born, they are made. But you americans and your guns, will never learn.
@FakeNorris no country is perfect, and not all americans are like that. THATS what i hate about that statement. you judge a country by SOME of the people in it. If you wanna judge someone dont judge the whole damn country.
My dad lost his friend in the bombing the last time he saw her was at church and didn't get to say goodbye it wasn't till Friday he figured out that she had been killed :(
My mom was in that building two weeks before the bombing changing an error in her social security card good thing she didn't make an appointment on 4-19-95
Thank you. This is very touching for all of us who were downtown OKC on April 19, 1995. That day is forever etched in our hearts and minds. We will never forget.
I lived in Oklahoma City when this happened. I was only 3 years old though so I never knew about it at that time. But when I was older my family and I visited the memorial. It's so sad and I can't believe this had to happen. :( I was especially sad to hear about all the children who died, who would all be about my age now if they hadn't been killed.
So sad. The hundreds of people killed all because of some jackass terrisots. They should be ashamed if they weren't either dead or in jail. If they were still alive I would bomb their home and see how they like it. I know I'm being hard on them but I mean come on. BOMBS! Seriously?! I wouldent do anything like this. I'm a christan. Even if I wasn't one I would bomb nothing. Thier my point is made
I went the memorial and I cried 2 times. It really is sad. Bailey Almon was a baby killed in this and she is my friends older sister. Its so sad. If you ever have the chance to go to the memorial you should go.
its sad we lost all those people that day, can't imagine anyone being so cruel................................I know till this day people are still adding flowers to that wall.
Video "Tribute To Lakesha Levy" Here Are Some Of The Lyrics , I Could Not Believe The Pictures That I Seen On My TV Screen They Just Made Me Want To Scream, I Saw A Baby In A Fireman's Arms Her Little Life was Over Before It Really Began ,One father Buried Both Of His Sons In A Single Casket As One There was A Young Woman In The Service The Waiting Made Her Family Very Nervous, Then Came Word Yet They Were Words They Wish they Had Never Heard Tell Me "Who Could Have The Heart?" R.I.P. Angels!
I just looked up this video because I had heard about it at school from a teacher. I never knew a person would do this. It is horrible. Just think that the parents were driving back home and saw the building explode. Horrible! What was worse was that one of the students in my class was laughing about it. I couldn't see how a person would laugh. The man who did this was a BITCH. Hope he has a nice life in jail. Killing 168 people? And 19 children? What is wrong with America?
@123megaspongebob yeah they do you know that my school near okc bombing we thought it was earthquake but hugest smoke came out we are crying and scared we dont know what we do
i remember the morning of the bombing, i lived in Noble, which is about 45 minutes away, i was 5, my mom was sitting on the table in front of the tv crying. ill never, ever, forget that morning.
I lost my nephew that day.... This video makes me sooo sad. I wish we could find the truth... just so many unanwered questsions... I sill can't get over it.
thank you for making this video, i am not from Oklahoma, but my cousin was killed in this horrific act and left behind a 6 year old daughter and husband, and i thankfull that someone cares enough to do this , for all you conspiracy theroists out there all your really doing is bringing back pain for the loved ones that have worked so hard to heal a wound that will never be completely healed.
I'm truly touched by this video. I my self come from Oklahoma and do remember April 19, 1995 its one of the days that i will truly never forget. I was only six at the time but i remember standing in my front yard when that ground shook In the days after I learned that the ground shook because of the bomb that killed 168 people. So thank you for making a video tribute to the victims and the people whose lives changed forever that day.
PLEASE do not remove this video. The person who posted those comments was a pathetic moron who has no idea about the people in the true heartland of America. We don't stick our heads in the sand like New Yorkers. Your video was done very tastefully and it touched my heart deeply. A Fellow Oklahoman....
First of all, the bomb hit @ 9:02. The truck outside was blown to smithereens, with the axle with the VIN # found 2 MILES AWAY. Remember, no security measures were in place within the USA until after this bombing, That's why the truck was able to pull right up to the building.

This video is anything but an honor to the victims of that day. By including the images and sounds reliving the bombing that day you cause many people a lot of anxiety and grief. You sadly know nothing of the people in true hearland of this country. GET OFF YOUR SOAPBOX!!!
My teacher told me about this becuase on Wendsday 25, 2009 in Las vegas ( I live there )there was a spill of some nitrogin stuff and if it would of turn on then we would of die =`(
My mom put my baby blanket on the wall the day after i was born to represent all of the babys of the past and future. My birth day is April 18 th so the day after my bday i always am grateful i was not born a year earlier. I would have gone to that daycare and i would not have survived.
As a fellow Oklahoman, I welcome you along with lots of others. I lost one of my twin sons in the bombing. He was in the 2nd floor daycare center @ 9:02, and I'll never forget it. I remember it every November 10th, when their birthdays arrive, as to just what I've lost. Please, come out, and see the memorial grounds, they are so peacefu, and beautiful, and to remind us, that tradgedy can strike anywhere, at anytime. God Bless.
it makes me cry becus i as supposed to be there with my mom @ 9:00 that day and i would not be here if plans weren't changed. i believe people are watching out for me and my family. I pray for those families who lost loved ones and those who lost their lives that day. So everyone please just take the time now to honor those whom we lost that day for at least 1 minute. Whether you lost someone or still in shock after almost 13 years.
I was with the first volunteers from the Wichita area to reach OKC. For those who weren't there, you can't know. We later learned that McVeigh drove down MY STREET on his way to OKC. I can't describe the horror that fact alone leaves in my heart. OKC will be part of me forever and part of the thousands and thousands of people who either were there or who lost loved ones. Don't minimize that grief through thoughtless remarks.
i was born on this day. not a year before or after. exactly 12 hours after. im 13 now. wen i was a baby my family said i say angles. i would smile at nothing and laugh. i lived no where near oklahoma but everyone says i was reborn from those children's lives, souls, and mind. u never know. maybe its true
in 2006 at the site. my husband is in the army, well he was wearing an army shirt, while we were there a guy with a camera walked up to us and said 'boy are you in the military' my husband answered proudly 'yes' the mad said that ' it must be fun to kill people for an education, and that our military is what led to these peoples deaths, I just thought everyone should know that there are people out there who blame america for this, when it wasn't our fault. united we stand. RIP to all victims.
i visited the memorial in 2002 and the feeling is amazing when u take a walk inse the memorial park u feel a sense of peaceful , honestly almost cry it was amazing.
i ll never forget those moments, oklahoma is a beautiful state , what a feeling, amazing.
may God bring peace to your hearts and those who are tring to hurt innocent people.
My brother was on his way to the bank next to it that day he was running late for work and forgot his wallet. He turned around to go get it and the building blew 2 minutes later. Someone was looking out for him that day. I wish everyone had forgot something that day.
I really can't stand the constant comparison...REaLLY...does it matter? Lives were lost, destroyed...19 children died. Both were horrible...its not a pissing contest between the cities...
i remember that day, i was in the 3rd grade and we heard the explosion. i lived in a small town called ponca city, close by oklahoma city i remember my dad didnt come home untill 10:00 at nite we thought somthing had happened to him, i was so scared me and my mom cried all nite. but when he did come home he said that he was helping to serch for the people. they needed people who worked in concruction to help. im proud to say that my dad is a hero.
I was 13 and at school when this happened and it's odd that I didn't hear anything about it until after school.. when I got home and it was all over the TV but I don't recall anyone talking about it at school and I lived in Tulsa.. the other sad thing is that I was in school during the 9/11 attacks as well, 11th grade and I do remember hearing about that one at school..
i was there when it happened i dont remember that much but i do remember when it went off the wave was so shocking i was hit by a lamp it shattered and left a scar on my leg i was stuck in there for hours or thats what they said 2 of my friends were killed that day
The Oklahoma City bombing occured in 1995. I was 20 years old when this took place. Anyone who was here and heard this event knows there were 2 explosions. This building was demolished 29 days later. They tell us that 5,000 lbs of (ANFO) did this. Look up on youtube "12,000 lbs of Ammonium Nitrate" its more than double. There are still alot of unanswered questions to this day. Also try google "Cover Up in Oklahoma City" the entire subject has many loose ends.
The dead children would be young adults now. The injured would have normal lives instead of broken and burned bodies for life. The tears will never be gone. Neither will the nightmares; but like the Survivor Tree, we survive and grow, and stand tall against the Oklahoma winds and blue skies. We will not forget any who died. God bless Oklahoma.
You should have been with me to volunteer on the night the workers reached the day care center! You should have seen the horror in the eyes of the rescue workers who had to pull these broken babies from the rubble. Or walked downtown with me. Stood a block away from the building, heard the noises of the cranes and equipment, smelled the smells that were drifting from the site.
i love it this bombing happened when i was a baby and it was so horrifying thats wat my family says u could here the bomb for miles accoding to my family this is a very good video and i am proud to say thak u for showing me this it is a good to show wat happened in my home state
I heard a statement from someone who worked in a building a few blocks away, who said that she saw Timothy McVeigh inside the building she worked in, asking if there was a daycare center. It seems the only reason he chose the A. P. Murrah building is because it did have one.
@ImaGoofyGooberYEAH i know this is 4 years later but why would he want to bomb it when it had a daycare center in it thats what i have wanted the answer to since 3rd grade
@makeupisfun101 i dunno lol. I wrote that four or five years ago, I don't even know anymore. Opinions change, as mine have, and I have no idea, really.
@makeupisfun101 If I'm honest he had the right thing in mind. He acted too soon and in a way that made the movement look very bad. He could have bombed a building that mattered and actually inspired people to act, but nah, he bombed one with kids. It was a scumbag move for them to essentially have those kids as hostages to deter potential attacks in the first place though.
@ImaGoofyGooberYEAH true but they were just so little and innocent and didnt get a chance to live there lives and some of them didnt get a chance to say their first words or take their first steps
@makeupisfun101 Of course it was a tragedy. I disagree with his methods but for the most part I agree with the message. The government has been screwing us over more and more and his actions gave them just another excuse to tighten the screws. He went about his business in the wrong way.
@1901Twilighter I know this is like 4 years later haha but the main structures of the building met in the middle and mcviegh put the bombs in an opposite j so the whole force would take down the building
We are Australians who spent time in OKC last month for a Horse Show, and as we were staying downtown we made it to the Murrah Memorial twice...once by day and then again at night.......seeing this video today has brought me to tears, so very sad to see it again now that we are back home...as we feel connected somehow to the city after meeting so many wonderful Oakies during our stay, and know how much pain people still feel after that tragic day in 1995.
I saw U2 play live in Philadelphia in 2001. McVeigh was executed that morning. The song 'Bullet the Blue Sky' ended with Bono saying something like "and we run....we run..................Timothy McVeigh runs...into the arms......OF AMERICA.
wow....i'm really moved...and i live in Denmark a little country in Denmark. i'm i guy and but i must admid i cryed a bit when i saw...these things a sick. too blow up buildings to prove a point is just not the right way to do it.
May the 168 people Rest in Peace! sorry my English is not so good
This horrible thing was so sad...i was only 1.3 yrs old but i went to the memorial yesterday...and if yuo look at the other building you can see cracks...me and my mom found some keys in a crack next to the huge crack on the back side of the building that is still there...i live in oklahoma and my dad said that we had a crack in are window. ...my mom had just went to the murrah building a week before to get my social security number.and the lady that helped my mom died it was very sad....
This is a great tribute. this event was a tragedy because children wee killed. If those children wernt killed, this event would be a statistic. Just imagine if this event didnt happen, the world would be different and 168 more people on the planet. I aint saying im glad this happened, but im saying this was supposed to happen. RIP to those 168 people
i live in oklahoma i may have only been 1 years old but my dad would have been in the elevator when the bomb went off and he would have died i had family friends who died in that bombing my dads new phone saved his life he pulled over to anser it and i think that is the only time he thanked technology i vist the memorial often and visit family friends at there chairs
We lost 4 friends/family in the bombing. It was just such a horrific loss for all of us. I appreciate your video, but must admit I found the beginning of it to be quite traumatic. I personally found the clock ticking and the explosion sound to be very disrespectful.
wow.. a great video. it really is sad that all this happened. it really is a great memorial to go and see. i actually get to go adn see it in a few days. i had a friend who was stuck in traffic that morning and didnt make it to work, thankfully, for he would have been in that building.the memorial and the two gates are beautiful. good work on the pictures that you found. many of them really are beautiful.
thank you this was a great tribute one that is hard to watch but one I had to being from oklahoma it is the toughest day for us. out of this terrible day came great streangth not only in oklahoma but in the united states thank you again
thanks sooo much...my cousin's best friend lost his mom in this! This is sooo sad...I dedicate homiegurl's film to Sean and Teresa...Teresa died and Sean is her son!
hey im from here i waz 8 1/2 months when that happened
my aunt was across the street when that happened dn my other aunt was posed to be in it nd like a lot of family members of mine were sopped to be there but luckily there meetings canceled soo not as many people got hurt or died that could of
i just read a chicken soup book this kid said goodbye to his mom and his mom went to work there and when he was in school he got a call then he went home and saw it on the news and 2 weeks later he found his mom on the secound floor dead she worked on the nineth floor it was sad to read
This is some great footage.. I am doing my ISP, (Independant Study Project) on this, which happens to be due on April 19..I'll be doing a video project there, and I decided today I'll get as much info as I can. Thanks!
Wow! Myself being from Oklahoma just broke down watchin this. I remember that day like it was yesterday and will never forget that day. I was only in 5th grade.
my dad had to help out:) he doesnt remember it tho he tends to tune bad things out of his mind he was with my uncle

Don't minimize that grief through thoughtless remarks.

in 2006 at the site. my husband is in the army, well he was wearing an army shirt, while we were there a guy with a camera walked up to us and said 'boy are you in the military' my husband answered proudly 'yes' the mad said that ' it must be fun to kill people for an education, and that our military is what led to these peoples deaths, I just thought everyone should know that there are people out there who blame america for this, when it wasn't our fault. united we stand. RIP to all victims.

My brother was on his way to the bank next to it that day he was running late for work and forgot his wallet. He turned around to go get it and the building blew 2 minutes later. Someone was looking out for him that day. I wish everyone had forgot something that day.

I was 13 and at school when this happened and it's odd that I didn't hear anything about it until after school.. when I got home and it was all over the TV but I don't recall anyone talking about it at school and I lived in Tulsa.. the other sad thing is that I was in school during the 9/11 attacks as well, 11th grade and I do remember hearing about that one at school..

i was there when it happened i dont remember that much but i do remember when it went off the wave was so shocking i was hit by a lamp it shattered and left a scar on my leg i was stuck in there for hours or thats what they said 2 of my friends were killed that day

i was like in the 6th or 7th grade when it happened. My family and I went to the memorial and it was soo sad of seeing the objects from the rubble.

I dont understand how a video like this, can cause such hate, and anger, like in the posts below. Rise Above it. It was very nice tribute.
I was 9 years old when it happened, and I will never forget it. I remember that We could feel the windows of our bus shake from the explosion.
Very Nice Job.

13lcky13 4 years ago 3
i love it this bombing happened when i was a baby and it was so horrifying thats wat my family says u could here the bomb for miles accoding to my family this is a very good video and i am proud to say thak u for showing me this it is a good to show wat happened in my home state
mustangbronco140 4 years ago
I heard a statement from someone who worked in a building a few blocks away, who said that she saw Timothy McVeigh inside the building she worked in, asking if there was a daycare center. It seems the only reason he chose the A. P. Murrah building is because it did have one.
ImaGoofyGooberYEAH 4 years ago
@ImaGoofyGooberYEAH i know this is 4 years later but why would he want to bomb it when it had a daycare center in it thats what i have wanted the answer to since 3rd grade
makeupisfun101 1 week ago
@makeupisfun101 i dunno lol. I wrote that four or five years ago, I don't even know anymore. Opinions change, as mine have, and I have no idea, really.
ImaGoofyGooberYEAH 1 week ago
@ImaGoofyGooberYEAH haha srry im just glad he is burning in hell
makeupisfun101 1 week ago
@makeupisfun101 If I'm honest he had the right thing in mind. He acted too soon and in a way that made the movement look very bad. He could have bombed a building that mattered and actually inspired people to act, but nah, he bombed one with kids. It was a scumbag move for them to essentially have those kids as hostages to deter potential attacks in the first place though.
ImaGoofyGooberYEAH 1 week ago
@ImaGoofyGooberYEAH true but they were just so little and innocent and didnt get a chance to live there lives and some of them didnt get a chance to say their first words or take their first steps
makeupisfun101 1 week ago
@makeupisfun101 Of course it was a tragedy. I disagree with his methods but for the most part I agree with the message. The government has been screwing us over more and more and his actions gave them just another excuse to tighten the screws. He went about his business in the wrong way.
ImaGoofyGooberYEAH 1 week ago
@ImaGoofyGooberYEAH im only in the sixth grade so i dont get that part but i think he just went way overboard with what he did

1901Twilighter 4 years ago 2

I live in Tulsa.
I had friends whose parents and relatives died/were injured from this.
And still I didn't think much of it.
When I watched this, no kidding, I started crying.
I favorited it, gave it five stars, and now I'm commenting... And I don't do that much.
Your video really moved me.

The children might have grown up to be president, than make world peace.
and you would be blamed millions of times just because of what your heart aimed for
only adults.
:l
It might not happen.
But there is just as much of a chance it would have.

We lost 4 friends/family in the bombing. It was just such a horrific loss for all of us. I appreciate your video, but must admit I found the beginning of it to be quite traumatic. I personally found the clock ticking and the explosion sound to be very disrespectful.
