Woah, this sounds like total 70's era Stones, I don't think that they would re-record songs for an already awesome record. However, if they did, they totally fooled me, I thought this was from the 70's era Stones. However, this song is amazing, and I will love it forever!
Thank you very much for putting this new stuff up on Youtube ; i dont have this cd yet but i have a cd of Exile from the 90s as well as the original 72 vinyl album which my older brother bought for the two of us to listen to back in the day ! Class album ; in my Top 10 albums of all time !!
Yeah, you can definately tell the difference between the old Exile sound compared to Mick's NEW vocal on this. His voice is too refined. They've also brought out his voice more, which on the original Exile alot of the voices were kind of buried. To me this just sounds like something that would have been on (I hate to say this) Undercover.
Great track. You can tell Don hooked up mick's voice to make it soound like the exile era, but it's still all good. Love the boys and I hopr they never stop! They are better than any one out there now any how.
@oclero i have every album the stones ever made. that is DEFINATELY keith on guitar!! mick's playing is extremely melodic..even when he plays the blues keith is just plain nasty! i've heard these exact same licks on many albums before mick joined the band and again after he left. it's keith!!
@bluecjh I would assume he gets royalties for mechanics on the album, while he also got paid for the new sessions during which he added some lead guitar (not this one, as it's Keith, but Plundered My Soul for example). He also has joint-songwriting credit for one or two tracks.

Come on Stones. It's time to get back on tour. Bring Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman and all the usual suspects this time.

it doesn't matter if his voice "held up"-this is from the 70s.

I don't understand the complaints about Jagger's vocals on this. His voice has held up great.

Keith Richards - electric guitar
Charlie Watts - drums
Bill Wyman - bass
Ian Stewart - piano
Jimmy Miller - percussion

@stonesfreakkim ..and that was the main reason Mick Taylor quit the band. He didn't recieve credit for what he did :)

@bluecjh All depends on if he was paid off like Brian Jones was against any future profits..........
