Fairy Tail does have its sad moments but it seems like the author does not have the audacity to kill off primary and secondary antagonists. So far the only characters to have died are Simon (a tertiary character introduced only within the arc he died), Azuma and Capricorn's possessor (same as Simon, only that they are antagonists). Unless you factor in Lisanna, which was a fake death.

fairy tail is actually very stereotypical and much of it has already been done in other shounen series, you can bash naruto but in fact naruto is unique, and the story is not bad without fillers.

i follow one piece, bleach, fairy tail and naruto too, and i notice that people tend to follow and favor only 1 or 2 and bash on the other, thats really low.
