  • where's morrison?

  • THIS AIN'T BLUES, THIS IS ROCK N' ROLL.

  • @niggaT42000 absolutely no idea why you consider this rock 'n' roll, the pace is totally wrong. FYI the original tune being written around 1960 (after the classic rock 'n' roll period) and recorded in 1961, this places it firmly in the growing rhythm and blues era and the original version is still the greatest IMHO.

  • Willie's version of superstitious, not on youtube :(

  • @CirSam I'm gonna add it once I get this album. It won't be for awhile though because there are tons more bands I wanna add first.

  • @LedZeppelin2055 ...that would be great thanks..

  • @CirSam Sure thing, just ordered it yesterday.

  • @LedZeppelin2055 ...That 1970 Willie Dixon version of I Aint Superstitious from I Am the Blues is the best version of the song, in my opinion.

The YT community will love it..thanks again.

  • @CirSam I love his version. I'm also a big metal fan, so Megadeth's cover is great IMO too.

  • I have great respect for Willie Dixon, but, man, Howlin' Wolf's version of this song is harder!!!

  • The Doors mainley rocked the song up but Willie version is basic blues always pefect

  • #badsongsinjail Willie Dixon-'Back Door Man',....LOL

  • love wolf's version...but this is pretty good. Of course, it is...WIllie Dixon, after all.

  • the doors got their name from this (kick ass) song or from aldus huxley book "the doors of perception"?

  • Willie Dixon writes a song named Back Door Man....

    I sense homosexual overtones.

  • @ExtranormalVIDEO .....idiot.

  • @mar30139 Learn to take a joke.

  • @mar30139 It was a joke. Lighten up.

  • @mar30139 yes an idiot ¡¡ he's the gay extra anormal freak

  • @ExtranormalVIDEO

You are a little off the mark, although I can understand why.

This is much more likely a reference to surreptitiously traded wanga or gris-gris. Why else would the judge's wife be so concerned for the singer's well-being? If it were strictly about sex, why would the singer creep about during the night when the man of the house were most likely to be at home?

  • they all make it their own

  • great song , My personal favourite version is by the truly wonderful " Blues Co op " from Nashville , featuring Warren Haynes and Miranda Louise

  • Oh yeah this is the best version.

  • Man, I Love the Doors, but I DO prefer this, sorry Mr Mojo Riin lol

  • Between Dixon and The Doors, I Love this song. I am a Back Door Man!

The Blues= Ol' Skool REAL music, not this auto tune computer generated crap we have now. This took talent!

  • This is power!!! This has more balls than any metal. This is so heavy! That's why bands like Led Zeppelin, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn & Ten Years After sound so powerful, because they were influenced so much by this type of music! & that's a good thing.

  • Dixons version has a bitch slapping back beat that makes it for me over the Wolfs.

Still love the Wolf man tho.

  • Wow I love that sound!

  • @lordieuan777

It makes me air-drum too :)

  • Is it me or do the Blues make you air drum more than any other genre?

  • @lordieuan777 I dont know about that....I tend to do a lot of something between air guitar and air mike...Maybe we should get together and make a blues band LOL

  • @goldensande Virtual Dixon? lol... I know, AIR Virtual Dixon :D

  • @lordieuan777 Yep.

  • @lordieuan777 Could you possibly explain me what air drum is? Thanks in advance.

  • this was originally by Willy Dixon right...?

  • "Back Door Man" is written by Willie Dixon for Howlin' Wolf, released by Chess Records as a B-side to Wolf's "Wang Dang Doodle" in 1961.

  • @Savlepovon

    thought it was 51

  • I saw willie dixon in a small venue in parsippany, nj in the early 70's @ a place called the joint in the woods. It snowed like crazy and there couldn"t of been 40 people showed up. Johny winter showed up, but didnt play, just watched. we drank, smoked and it was maybe the best music I ever heard. For that I am blessed

  • great experience.
