W/o repeating everyone else, mix NOS/Neuts. Then u could NOS the mega to steal cap to rep and neut the domi. Congaline of cap hurt. Or 2 LAR/NOS setup.

well; my only advice is this:

1. Keep drones on the domi the whole time

2. Switch to smaller drones for the frig

3. Neut the Mega since it's very cap dependant, and you probably could have saved your life if you would have neuted him quickly

@themidnightdaylight even if thats the case agains a Domi if you destroy his drones it gives you a bit of a fighting chance to take him down. Though Im not saying focuse all of your fire on 4-5 drones just send maybe 1 or 2 against the others and take them out then finish of the other ship. Note: your right about you dont know how many drones they have so in other cases or fights DONT DO THAT :)

You make a better fitting you need to ballance vamps with neuts so you have very low cap but stable (and when vamps stop working you still have your neuts).

For empire wars IE: staition hugging, I would have just went with a pure buffer setup with tripple trimarks, dual cap injectors. This gives you an absurd amount of cap, and EHP, and enough time to deagress and dock up.

Also you might want to play with your overview settings, as the billion things there hurt my eyes :P

Hey m8, if you're looking to effectively tank a domi for pvp, you need dual reps, no questions. I would only reccomend one plate as well, so you have more PG for the reps and the neuts. I would stay with the 6 neuts, thats enough to permakill another BS's cap and ruin their tank. I dont think i would have gone after the domi first, the mega is a more cap hungry ship, so go after that. And also get dual cap injectors, only way ur cap will be able to keep up.

th buffer tank is much more effictive hp than any duel rep domi, dule rep is amazing for gatecamping, missions, and one vs. one fights, you have MUCH more effictive hp with 1600mm rolled tungstine plates and last a lot longer in fights where normally you'd get alphed or or reps would fall behind, also amazing idea if you had a buddie and each had a large remote rep.

The best setup is a fleet of five T2 ships:

1. a BS geared for maximum dps

2. an armor support ship

3. a shield support ship

4. an energy support ship

5. and an ECCM support ship

Need to rethink your setup. I've never been a fan of 6x Neuts, it's a throwback to the old 6x nos domi's but it isn't nearly as effective.

Also your mids are a bit messed up, for undock wars (a.k.a. empire wars) a movement mod generally isn't needed, as once your off the undock - 9/10 your not going to get back in range of it. Also, swap ECCM/SB with a tracking disruptor.

neut domi is overrated! your setup was kinda wack, buffer and active tank combined isnt so hot, its one or the other. Massive armor rep or insanely massive effective hp

I was actually using an endurance tank the large repair is to repair a little - but it is not the main tank. Otherwise I would have completely redesigned the low slot layout. I have since changed this setup anyway. The dominix was neuted completely so couldn't shoot with its guns so it only had the Ogre II damage of around 400 of which I had somewhere around 79-80% resist.

I had 3x trimarks - killmail added to video description (see right). I had roughly 7 mill sp when I attempted this. They were 2003-5 players, tbh I pretty much knew I was going to lose but I know I made mistakes and hoped I have learnt from them.

they were a good bunch of lads, and my corp hadn't been actively fighting recently so I needed to show a display that we weren't a bunch of pussies :P The financial loss is not something I recovered from quickly though- so stupid is the word!
