  • What size would you prefer for a 15" MBP. I'm having trouble deciding between a medium or large. Thanks.

  • @cotythompsonfyi looks good in the specs. 13" MBP definitely has wiggle room.

  • @cotythompsonfyi the medium is the right size or the 15" MBP

  • lol i like how the girl got the black one , and he got the orange/yellow looking one, i guess opposite day

  • The problem with timbuk2 is their messenger bags suck for biking. For walking they are fine. They still look good, and very strong, but not comfortable for biking. Their backpacks are decent though for biking, 2 straps and secure.

  • Only the custom bags are made (rather assembed/stitched) in SF. The rest get made around the world. It makes no difference where it is made. The same machines get used. The same people get used to make it (only difference is where they live).

  • Timbuk2 Classic Messenger 2010, label inside says "Made in the Philippines". If you look up on their page in "About Us' and then "manufacturing policy" they clearly state "We make bags in our SF factory, and around the world: China, Vietnam and the Philippines to be exact." That doesn't change the fact that the bags are top notch and serve you well for years.

  • Everyone and their grandmother has these here in San Francisco. I saw an old dude doing tai chi in the park and he had a Timbuk2 backpack.

  • nice video

  • are the large,large?

  • looked up on their site, turns out that only the custom ones are made in USA.

  • Bro, you're right a lot of the timbuk2 bags are made in USA. But that one i got was actually made in the Philippines. Dont know why but i was hoping it was made here in US. Im a Filipino myself but i was really hoping for a US made. However, the bag looks very sturdy and strong to hold lots of stuff. Overall, i love the design and the material they used for these bags..

  • How tall are you? Would you recommend a large bag? Or is medium plenty?

  • you look like house

  • whats the size of yout laptop in your bag?

  • 13.3" Macbook Pro... Also... shop around... there are MANY USA made "Classic" messenger bags available by Timbuk2... (and they are still being made in the USA... just not all of them... like ones bought from a major distributor is more is more likely to have the 300 bags they bought cranked out in China.)

  • thankss very much!!

  • reidotcombackslashproductbackslash748534

  • go REI's site, click on classic messenger medium and it says IMPORTED.

a simple search will end all confusion.

  • Hey i appreciate the change. Not saying the knife reviews are bad, but it's good to see something new once in a while. Keep it up!!

  • no its imported, i.e. asia-made. i have one i bought direct from the factory in SFO back in the clinton years; back when they were 100% made in the USA.

    clintons nafta/gatt changed all that.

  • The "Classic" Messenger bags are made in San Francisco USA... Keep in mind it HAS to say "Classic" in the description. There are TWO tags on this one that say "Made in USA" Pretty much every other product of theirs is made in Asia though. Maybe you bought the "Commute?"

  • you are wrong. just bought my classic messenger at bike gallery in PDX. wanted a custom laptop messenger so i called T2 and they said ALL of their bags are made in asia.

the NYLON might be made in the USA but its def. an asia-made operation as oppossed to when trhey first started.

  • OK I JUST got off the phone with Timbuk2. They said "Most" of their "Classic" bags are made in San Francisco. If you order a "custom" or "Limited Edition" (like mine), it is DEFINITELY made in SF. If it says "Made in USA" it is made in SF... The newest ones (like mine) say "HANDMADE IN SAN FRANCISCO." For anyone reading this... Swear on my mother's eyes, this is the correct info. I think "lonepantherAK" works for an opposing manufacturer.

  • are u crazy?

i just bought the commute 2.0 from bike gallery in downtown portland and it says imported.

i dont believe u called anybody cause if you did u would have found out there assembled in asia while SOME of the materials are USA made and that incldudes classic bike messenger bags.

for anyone who wants to know for himself and is not a paranoiac accusing others of working for opposing companies (lol!) call T2 for yerself.

they are all ASIA made 100%

  • lay off - don't get as many subscribers as archman? dude corrected himself and said "most" classic bags are made in SF. you then asked if he's crazy because your "commute" is imported - why don't you read for yerself

  • you need to shut the fuck up; you carry ur shit in plastic Kroger shopping bags.

  • wow - what an incredibly well-reasoned, well-articulated response. way to revert to profanity and low-brow smack talk when you've been owned and embarrassed.

tell you what... why don't YOU shove your head in your own Kroger bag and squeeze tight to avoid polluting the world with your overly opinionated, self-righteous (and incorrect at that) mouth.

  • take the cock outta yer mouth and put the gun in.

  • @lonepantherAK the timbuk2 bags are made in SN FRANCISCO HANDMADE. THEIR WEBSITE STATES THAT

  • Are you sure it is USA made? I thought San Francisco is now officially part of Europe.

  • nice bag

  • awesome bag, didn't knew about this company but looking at their site, man they have some cool stuff thanks for sharing dude

  • hey archman. Thanks for another good review. I just have tip: It would be nice if you went in to a little more detail especially the pockets. Do you like them? How functional are they? keep up the good work

  • Cool, Man... been using Timbuk2s for years now... it'll last ya forever! Enjoy!

  • Quality Shit, that's great!
