@Veredika I personally still love all the songs you did. Letter Experiment, Icarus Lives, Friends and Family, Year Long Car Alarm etc. Still have them all and listen to them. That doesn't mean I don't love the current Periphery though. But I think it's different for me than for others though.. I was hanging with you guys and hearing this shit when it was freshly made with us blasting it in my Camaro hah. Tons of good memories all around from those days.
@Veredika And for a lot of people they have heard the current Periphery first, and then hear this stuff and it's kind of a huge shift for them. Other way around for me hah. Whatever happened in the past aside, I think your vocals still fit well with the overall sound, but it just goes to show how something like vocals can totally change the whole "aura" of a band. Your stuff compared to the current just sounds like two totally different bands, but in the end I love both. Always will.
@Zacfrost77 There is no one album, but if you download Demos 200x - 200x (replace the X's with the correct numbers that I forgot) there are alot of Jake songs on there, mostly early versions of songs that later were on Self Titled.
I've been looking everywhere for lyrics to this version. The vocals on this version + the current production song (with the tapping) would be beastly.

Why do all of these songs have very disturbing endings?

Tell me why the 1st minute or so sounds like Meshuggah? Lol

@99mag3r99 And at 4 minutes, sounds exactly like New Millenium Cyanide Christ haha. All the versions with Jake are very Meshuggah-esque
