@CalipariCurse, Or whenever he leaves a program, that program mysteriously has their Final Four appearance stripped and somehow, to Calipari, neither case was in any way related to him. Funny.

Dude, don't slam dr. pepper and pizza all the time. Bilas is pretty fair and objective, the guy I thought was good was Larry Conley (a U.K. player). But my favorite is Bill Raftery and Verne Lundquist. Why is it in most sports they have the worst announcing crews for the biggest games, like Joe Buck and Tim McCarver???????? Or Joe Buck period!
ya i like verne, he's pretty good. bill rafferty isn't bad either. i just can't stand the guys that scream a lot more than is necessary, like gus. and i hate the biased people that only give a shit about one team, such as bilas or dukie v, that's all.
CBS' coverage would be much better if they let Gus and Raftery call the Final Four...I can't take Packer...I really can't stand much of Nantz either...
bill packer is the worst announcer in history. he picks a story before the game starts and believes it to be true even if it proves false. the coverage of the ncaa tournament by cbs every year is always a let down.
I watched Oden's feet. When he caught the ball his left foot was down (pivot foot) then he stepped forward with his right foot (that's OK). THEN he switched BOTH feet (turning his body in a 180). Unless he can do that without lifting his left foot (he lifted BOTH feet) it is a travel. THEN he made the fake drop step.
But in any case, that wasn't my point as much as Packer's inane comments. He said, "Travel, but a pretty good move." If it's a travel, it is NOT a good move.
so how did he impersonate jeff green?

So, what is the Calipari Curse?
Missed free throws.
When the game is on the line, when the heat is turned up, you can count on any team Calipari is coaching to miss free throws.
Beware the missed free throws...

@CalipariCurse I'm a UK fan but your right 4-12 in the UCONN game at the Final Four is just pathetic.

That would be the GUS AND RAFTERY, that would equal SUMMERALL/MADDEN, GARGIOLA/SCULLY and other great announcers.

the problem is the ref called the fake drop step, which is perfectly legal. he traveled before that, but the ref didnt call that.
