So called headshot protection doens't work. It's actually headshot REDUCTION, not PROTECTION. It reduces the amount of damage taken, but still you die. Baxstar missed the shot because he has a ta3 scope, not a ta1 scope. ta3 scopes make the bullets shoot a little below the red dot. Sheese. Sry for the long comment.

hey u know that when aiming through that acog scope, the bullets shoots right under the dot, so when aiming at the head, u aim right above their head. i play with g36e most the time and when scoping on that the bullets fire in the middle of the top half circle. also this doesnt matter if ur scoping or not on any gun, the bullets always shoot to the right a tiny bit from ur crosshairs or what ur scoping with.

Ok so basically what HS pertection % is, is basically just when you get shot in the head, the damage is multiplied from the original calculation by 8. Then you take that damage and subtract how much HS perfection the helmet gives you. For example if I take 200 damage to the head and i have 20% HS perfection I'll only take 120 damage which would still kill me. Most AR shots do 250-350 damage so HS is most of the time useless. However at ling ranges with high damage drop off chances are increased

Today's combat arms patch made helmets more useful I believe. I gifted my friend a MICH helmet so i could test if his helmet works. The weapons I used were the m16a3 and the mp5 scoped. What's interesting is that at 20 meters, the mp5 didn't instantly head shot him. but with m16a3, it instantly killed him. He had 8 hp after I shot him in the head with an mp5 scoped. So basically, helmets do work. That's because SMGs HAVe very high damage drop off.

lol hs protection is mostly for fireteam... zombie usualy hits you in the head for 51 damage... so if you have 51 hp or less you will die... but if you have hs protection on you wont lol... just thought i should point that out

If you notice in Combat Arms after you die from a headshot the damage displayed on the lower right side of your screen the damage would be very high. Something like 360 something a g36. 30% HS protection would mean you'd still receive damage more than 100%

Actually the 30% headshot means that it will take about 30% of the damage on headshot so there is a chance that u wont die from a headshot, but that percentage is at a low point that i dont even know, caus ive been playing for about half a year, and when i was wearing a helmet it happened only once

I do beleive headshots are a damage multiplier by 5 or 6 I forget which one. But assuming its 5 you need a gun that does 20 damage or less and 6 like 14 or somthing. However keep in mind. 30% hs would technically give u 130 "headshot hp" and thus even the pistol SHOULDNT but a 1 hit kill. But it is. :| I find that odd because ive been headshoted before and went to like 12 hp and ive headshotted people and they either receive no damage or dont quite die. I think its mostly nexons fail hitbox xD

I've actaully used the Extremee Desert Thunder Fireteam mask before and survivied a headshot from an Sr25. I knew it was a headshot b/c A) It did 93 damage and B) it made teh headshot sound effect
