In essence, for a Sunburn to hit an American warship, it will have to get through at least two and possibly as many as four layers of defenses (SM-2, ESSM, RAM, and Phalanx). all of which that have been tested and used to defeat a sunburn. And the fact the sunburn has a short flight time and the plane firing has to get within 129 kilometers..which our planes can engage alot further out than that..so its a task at hand to come that close at least to a carrier..

the candian infantry soldiers has even said to me some of the marine corps , rangers, sas, sat have harder training then the navy seals and i beleive them
