I have them here. They like the Star Jasmine plant I used as groundcover. I get a few each day, but mine have more shiny green coloring on them. When they take off, they really go quick. I've never been able to photograph them they are so easily scared.

what is that an anna's humingbird or an allens humingbird? humingbirds are difficult to distinguish, im guessing with annas humingbird.

@cgay3s At incredibly rare times they will stay a touch longer, especially around kids. When I was younger I stood right next to a hovering hummingbird and stood still-so did my friend who was next to me.
