I am from the UK and this year we sent a mostly black group to the Europe wide Eurovision Song Cotest singing an upbeat soul tune "Even If" which the singer co-wrote.

We came last, which we are upset about.

He was the only black solo singer in the contest.

He was 2nd in X Factor 2005 This is the UK eqivilant of Pop Idol.
