thank you so much for putting this up, im danish myself and it surprize people everytime I teel them how bad transexuals get threated when we are so proud of being one of the most openly country for gay people.. I think the problem in denmark is almost nobody knows about this kind of things.. if just people got knowlegde them im sure it would get chanced, but as it is now, only few people know the trust..

well Denmark is not just really strict, they are impossible to work with... And it's a myth that the country is accepting and liberal in general too, It used to be more like that but thats maybe 15 years ago, We changed government, and they kept the image but they are only making things more strict and conservative.

Everyone who thinks that a Government ran health system would solve our problems in the USA should watch this video! And Denmark is usually thought of as being a very liberal country.

Woah woah woah, that is a HUGE and unneccessary leap to make. Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, for example, have much easier pathways to transition and Sweden's is not nearly as bad as Denmark's-- all have government run health. It is not the health SYSTEM that is bad hear (that is excellent!!!) the problem is outdated institutionalized attitudes on transsexuality and general transphobia. And it's not like there aren't trans activists here working on changing stuff...
