Who the H*** is WMG? Why shut down home made fun, not for profit clips like this? Like this is really hurting their bottom line. What a bunch of greedy selfish people! Clips like this don't hurt WMG one bit, but their shutting down affects all of us that enjoy this. If I ever learn what their products are, I will do my best to boycot & tell everyone I can to do the same. What a contrast if they were not so selfish, I'd love to spend my money on their products. Their greed makes them losers!

This version is not my favourite (The 1995 BBC adaptation with Colin Firth is far better). There is something wrong about the actress in this one. She displays a good acting talent, but is too "mean", too predator-like towards Darcy; she victimises him. As for the actor himself, he is too kind, too meek, too shy, not manly enough (In his behaviour, that is). He actually displays women's traits... Not at all the pride, arrogant Mr. Darcy from the novel.

as i understand your point of view, i must politely disagree. I believe Kiera Knightly very much exploited Lizys character just the way i read the book, as for the 95 version, she was not so bad either, but this one is far more beautiful in many ways. Especially where Elizabeth is looking out over the mountain. its more deep and had very great actors in it. As for Colin Firth, being a fan of his, i believe he did do a good job at being Darcy, but again, Micheal Mcfayden had Mr. Darcy's....

quizzical brow and high strung character, so much as to when i watched the movie, i was almost convinced he was born to play the part. you say shy and meek, but i dont see that. i actually see strength and conceit that Jane Austen thoroughly made sure the character did not lack. you say she is too mean, but to me, she is elizabeth, angry at how he looks down on her and her family and her disposition.
