  • 1:17 i swear to god that's my great grandmother who pasted away a few years back.

  • @lockerzking2 Well-if her name was Mrs. Hollohan of Gander --she's yer Great Gran Mudder. So far as I know she's still alive and living in a nursing home in Gander. Cheers and Merry Christmas

  • Here's something ya didn't know....

the newfie kitchen seen at 1:38 in the video is the kitchen inside the house seen at 1:30. It is my grandmother's home.

She is currently living in the Carmelite House in GFW. I took these photos in 2002/03.

As a kid, I tasted my first cod tongue while in that kitchen .... YUMMY !

  • How ya gitin on Buddy. I got those pics from Webshots or Photobucket when I was puttin this one together. Perfect images for what I was doin at the time as they fitted well to the song. Thanks for the shots and for taking the time to respond. What was your Grandmas name?

    Cheers

  • Have seen Newfoundland from coast to coast but have yet to visit Bonavista Bay and it is a must see on our list

  • To Whitbourne from (Bonavista Bay Man). Indian Bay has great touting opportunities, the Barbour Living Heritage House at Newtown is well worth the tour and Dinner Theatre there, the beaches of the Staright Shore(Lumsden to Musgrave Hr.) technically in Notre Dame Bay but closer to Bonavista Bay. The unique town of Greenspond, couple or three restaurants including Chinese one in Badger's Quay area. Just thought I'd let you know this. Hopefully if you visit( Bonavista North area) you will enjoy.
