I don't see any of those things being exported on mass scales, and of that which is being exported I don't see the profits going to America. I see the same situation in Iraq, America has lost billions upon billions of dollars from going in there and all oil revenue goes to the Iraqi government, maybe through the Iraqi government giving oil revenue to American contractors, i.e. Halliburton is a way of siphoning the money, but that is very indirect and not very consistent.

The oil in the Caspian is mostly undeveloped. The profits will go to multinational energy corporations as well as the governments of Central Asia. Mining has existed in Afghanistan for thousands of years, and the profits go to the individuals and corporations that own the land. As to the poppies, clearly the warlords and corrupt ISI/CIA are raking in huge profits from heroin smuggled through the Balkans (Italy, Albania, and Kosovo are in a smuggling triangle of drugs, oil, and weapons).
