Hi there yes the KN typhoon actually sounds like this and dos increase bhp and kuosta is correct about the bypass kn guarantee 15.8bhp increase on a standard subaru so if yours is modified then you could b looking at more i have one on mine she is ruining 400bhp and i can notice a large increase sounds awesome

@JPCMotorsport I never noticed any increase in power at all after installing the KN by itself with the stock programming. However, afterwards I installed a COBB Accessport and was able to program the STI to Stage 1 with the cold air intake.

@istargazer oh right did you not......im running a simteck ecu ot a stock subaru one after install i noticed the difference straight away i didnt need to do any programming..i that the COBB Access port sf intake system?....never used them myself curious to see what people have to say who have cheers

Its guaranteed to put BHP on your scoob if it don't they will refund the purchase price , i got one for my subaru and you get all this info with it

Could you tell any of a power difference, loss or gain after you installed this intake? I have heard of a few people losing hp after they change from stock...

Yes you do. It's not a BOV, its a bypassvalve, stock, the intake just brings it out.

@agrsr82 It's not a BOV. My STI was stock and the sound is from the by-pass valve.
