How the hell do you keep the cockpit from flipping up when you attach his legs in heli mode?

his legs should click in place, however, it is not a fast holding click. also, there is peg and hole that fastens the rotor to the back. this helps in keeping his legs where they should be. Like I said before, this figure is a little disappointing.

One major problem I, and at least 2 others on here, am having is when I try to transform it back to the chopper mode. Either the legs stay attached and nose pops up, or the nose stays down and legs pop out. Must be a step that I am missing. My robot mode is perfect, but this chopper mode problem is causing some frustration. Any ideas??? I would really appreciate it.  Another person I know is having the same problem and 2 people have mentioned it on here. Thanks in advance!!

I had that same problem but putting him back in chopper mode you have to put the head in last that is what i did and it worked

Ironhide stays to scale better, has better automorph features, and better weapons. the only bad thing I can say about him is his waste seems to be his weak point. but still, Ironhide is a better toy.

Who you need is Evac. He has the rotor mounted on his hand (and a hook with line on the other) and he feels and looks solid.

I know. Megatron is bigger than Prime in movie, Jazz is way smaller than Brawl, Optimus and Bonecrusher are supposed to be about the same size but they're not, Blackout is bigger than Ironhide.....

im really upset about the toyline for the movie... there all bad. i think blackout shood hav been atleast a tad smaller then the size of the armada unicron so he cood acomitdate a good scorponock. maybe about an inch.

Hmm... I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed by what you said. I had hoped that blackout (with the possible exception of megatron/optiumus) would be one of the better toys, and if I were to only buy one, make it that one. Dude what do you want a transformer toy that transforms itself? Wheres the fun in that? Its not gonna kill you to think of something new. Thats what i did with the spidy 3 dudes. I made up my own little story. Spiderman kicks venom into the air, harry pulls out a bomb, spiderman throws harry's glider into venom, harry throws the bomb, venom catches it and tries to throw it back but it explodes, and venom is dead. OKay maybe i have too much fun, but still.

I love my Blackout. He's the best helicopter transformer I've ever had. But you're right, he basically just "looks" cool. He looks so menacing. Oh and if you want a hand held weapon for him, you can pop one of the individual blades off of the propeller or what ever you want to call it and put it in his hand like a sword. It works a lot like the old Transformers Armada Starscream. Once again a great review. 5 out of 5

I didn't seem to have encountered the problems you have... the only thing here that you mentioned "not good" is the waist and the cage. But the rest works perfectly. i brought blackout basiclly because helicopter transformers are my fave type i was extreamly impressed, i noticed in your review that you dident handle him with much care now buying a toy at the price it is, surly you would take care so you dnt waste your money i do agree the 'tabs' are annoying but if doone properly it aint so much of a problem and also my blackout has no problem with the waist/torso joint so i cant really comment on that but was a very well recorded review
