You may want to use the Stone Ability for Grand Doomer EX, and if you die enough times in a row (around 4, yes I died that much) they give you a Tomato Box.
Around there is when I deduced that I had to use the Stone Ability, and didn't even need the box.
As for the rest of the game, I pretty much GAVE UP around stage 5 - 2.

Wing's my favorite. Its awesomeness lies in its freedom and swiftness. Condor Dive and Condor Bomber give you full invincibility from one side of the screen to the other AND it will put you on the ground where you can immediately protect yourself better if you're still in danger.
And 5-2? Hmm... Try Ninja. Kill everything from afar with kunai, use your smokebomb-counterattack to avoid damage.
This music really grew on me when I played through the level the 7th time trying to get that one energy sphere where you had to use spark's upward bolt attack.
But I also noticed when I play the game, I get a hallway-echo effect when I either play the level or play the music track in sound test. It sounds like alot of sound effects from the original are missing in this video...
@superpika237 You're kidding right? Most of the earlier levels were push overs. Egg Engines was when the game actually became more challenging. I didn't die at all until this level.

These kind of levels remind me somewhat of Sonic CD, almost like those Bad Future levels.
And.. Egg engines? It sure makes you think, right? Anyhow, I love this track, it's one of my favs.
