Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire Remake Theory

If GameFreak do Remake Ruby/Sapphire, I would definitely by it. Plus, if remakes do come out, it would mean you could visit all 5 Regions on DS/3DS (What they'll probably make the remakes on): Kanto & Johto on HG/SS, Hoenn on R/S Remake, Sinnoh on D/P/Pt and Unova on B/W.

I love Hoenn, and I'm sure you do too. So why not help out a project ALL about this Region? My project "Rising Hoenn" is about giving the Hoenn Region a playable character in the Super Smash Bros series, like the Region really deserves. If anything, it'll be like HG/SS where they just mesh together Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald into two separate games. The only thing that would stand them apart would be Pokemon availability and a slight difference in the story. But that's just me.

@squishy0707 Could be. Also remember that in Emerald Juan is the eight gym leader while Wallace becomes champ, and Steven goes and wander around Meteor Falls or that place I forget the name of?

What I think is that this time around, they'll do what they did with black and white, having a diff last gym leader depending on the version..

One of my favorite references from B/W is if you talk to a backpacker in the desert he will say "A sea of sand and I don't need goggles, oh hey I come from the Hoenn region" or something like that

Now, while your reasons are valid, I would just like to add that they WILL do remakes of Ruby & Sapphire, assuming Game Freak does what they did with Red/Blue in the third gen, and gold/silver in the fourth gen. I would like to see a remake for Emerald and the reasons I think Game Freak did not remake yellow/silver is because they were not vastly different in the story. in Emerald, you had to fight not just Team Magma, but Team Aqua as well, I would like an Emerald remake, but I don't expect it.

@Zeldagigafan90210 I'm not sure that would work for their sells, I'm thinking maybe after they remake Diamond/Pearl, if they do, they'll remake Yellow, Crystal and all the other 3rd installments

@Zeldagigafan90210 Just so you both know, everytime they always remake the third version with the names of the first two, incase you haven't noticed HG/SS resemble Crystal more than G/S, they added Suicune and Eusine and also the Battle Frontier (Battle Tower from Crystal, G/S didn't have one) Yellow had almost no difference and was more of a special game, Pokemon Blue is the actual third installment which barely differs from Red and Green

@sasuke3177 for gen III, Gamefreak remade the first gen games. gen IV, they remade the Gen II games, gen V, they will remake the original gen III games, but maybe also a gen I remake.

what does mistralton city sound like in hoenn? what routes and towns does it sound like? just wodering. and how do u know that the airplanes could go to the hoenn and other regions? also one of the other clues is that in the sinnoh region, which is just like in the hoenn region is that in order to get to victory road you have to have the HM waterfall.

@raichumonster Mistralton City uses alot of the same instuments that were only used in 3rd Gen, if you compared it to certin areas you would hear it. They say it goes to other regions, so that would have to include Hoenn. I said the HM Dive, not Waterfall.

Remember Emerald had much bigger changes such as the storyline and features unlike Yellow and Crystal which just had Pikachu, Suicune and the Battle Tower. I think an Emerald is possible but they still might want to get more money by making 2 versions..

GSC they had poke gear

and someone told me the president of Pokemon died in the earthquake in Japan and they are looking for a new one. So who knows what will happen

Also, If they do come out, I think it'll be in 2013, since it will be ten years after ruby and sapphire came out (right?)
