Car insurance is mandatory because driving a car makes you responsible for whatever/whoever it HITS... it's to pay the OTHER GUY'S BILLS... whereas medical ins. is a financial agreemt between you and ins. company where you pay them monthly in exchange for their payment of an agreed amount of bills you MIGHT incur in CASE you get sick or hurt. It's personal financial risk management to have health ins. It is RESPONSIBILITY TO OTHERS to have car insurance.
