The Chinese Army is definitely larger, but for a large portion poorly equipped and trained as well as the fact that America has the second largest nuclear stockpile of any nation, and China does not. Although that doesn't take into account Russia, which has over 40,000 nuclear warheads.

If you think about it, it's complete luck that the Vikings were able to take hold of England, just like the French did later on. It just means they were the strongest force at the time. You can't really say "Well done present-day Denmark for making England great."
And who was in Britain (and therefore England is included) before the Celts?There's no true "peoples" of any country it would seem.

This should be Britain's national anthem. Why are we the only country who sing about a person and not their nation? It's also daft that "England's" national anthem is also "God save the Queen" when the Welsh and Scots have their own. "Jerusalem" for me! I shall not cease... til we have built Jerusalem in England's green and pleasant land!
