  • @GTBgabriel lupe fiasco -coming where im from ... lupe is the best ever man

  • kblaze sounds like a drug dealer

  • Till the very end he was dominant defensively in the paint, till the very end.

  • The man was a hell of a defensive player! A incredible force to be reckoned with in any court he played.

  • "Man cannot fly in the house of Mutombo."

  • Dikembe Mutombo > Ron Artest

  • Dikembe Mutombo + Lupe Fiasco = Like!!!

  • His real name is Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo. :)

  • is it me or the ball was super orange!?

  • People say it is sad to see one of the best defensive players leave the NBA. I say it's sad to see THE best defensive player retire.

    greetings from argentina

  • @soulrebelroots

    Lupe Fiasco-Ghetto Story.

  • mourning or mutombo?

  • @andrewerdna100, I would love to say Mutombo, because he's the most thoroughly enjoyable and likeable guy in the history of the league. But in honesty, Mourning, because while Mutombo was the better defender, Mourning was much better on offense while still being a great defender.

  • @jdlund I figured Mutombo's offensive game would be limited considering his size and lack of speed. Mourning may be 6-10, but dude was beast and explosive inside and also KNEW how to block as well.

  • WHO WANTS TO SEX MUTOMBO?

  • Dikembe jogava muitoo.

  • what's this song called?

  • @1944ACE1944 Ghetto Story (steady mobbin)-Lupe Fiasco

  • ghetto story by lupe fiasco

  • Anybody know the name of the song?

  • 3:55 beastmode!

  • Borderline hall of famer... He is one of the high class players out there that plays with all heart

  • Greatest center.

  • Mutombo is guaranteed to make the Hall of Fame in 2015. Great player, played until he was almost 43 years old, and did so much for people all over the world. That's why he's in, there should be a statue of him in the Congo!!

  • Holy shit 3:52 He smacked Michael Jordan's ball right out of the air.

  • Jordan let him -_-

  • Dikembe Mutumbo was a very good college basketball and pro basketball player. He was a very good defensive player and could rebound with the best of them in his prime. Mutumbo is a great man not because of basketball but he will be known for his philanthropic and humanitarian efforts in the republic of Congo and throughout Africa. He is a great man helping build hospitals in third world countries. Those people will never forget what he did for them.

    Re: Dikembe Mutombo by analiesesteinke45

  • this is your best video man. gave me goosebumps.

  • 3:12 to 3:23 most awsome moments

  • Haha I love the shots of a frustrated George Karl.

  • And I thought all this supposed extra athleticism in the NBA today would mean shit against Mutombo.

    "NOT IN MY HOUSE".

  • @uberathlete there some myth about players not being as athletic in olders era (60-90) to today nba,and belive me it's not true brother, bill russel and wilt chamberlain were a world class jumpers

  • @SunMan6A6 lol, MJ played in the 80s and 90s. who could possibly say MJ didn't have athleticism? barkley too.

  • Mutombo is a classic blocker like Russell. Dude was just nasty and kept the ball in play. Didn't have to swat it to the stands.

  • he's one of the greatest personalities ever in the NBA both on and off the court...

the guy was one of the best defenders ever and he also donated almost all of his life earnings for phillantropic causes...

  • @jingeshan24 SI ES MUTOMBO UNICO

  • this guy is great

  • how tall is he?

  • 2.18 m and his weight is around 120 Kg

  • whats the name of the first song?

  • Lupe Fiasco-Steady Mobbin

  • He is the most efficient player in the paint.

  • One of the best stories in all sports

    4:28 Stromile Swift like "WTF???!"

  • lol he packed the shit outa dirk

  • dikembe thats a player best!! i remember your games!

  • anyone knows the song please?

  • he rocked nowitzki at the end, great i hate that fuckin fag, go spurs!!!

  • i went to see mutumbo in '97 when i was 9 years old. he played for the hawks. they played the lakers ...let me refrase that, they demolished the lakers.kobe didnt play yet nut it wouldnt have made a difference. we waited outside for an autograph, he showed up but the crowd was to big.

  • Great player~~Great man

  • he had bill russell's approach to shot blocking...always kept th ball in play

  • AS a country what did CONGO contribute to the world think about it!

  • just because they didnt or couldnt does that means that they cant be helped?

  • I WISH THAT ONE DAY HE MIGHT BE A HOF.

  • Mutombo = Rolemodel inside and outside the court

Kobe = Ballhawk inside the court and shit outside the court

  • ooooh a hater....or sore loser cuz the lakers whooped whatever team u support HAHA

  • Mutumbo was one of my favorite players. I remember watching him when i was 6 when he was part of the 76ers. I just loved him. He better make the hall of fame, especially after what he has in college, NBA, and outside of basketball. He should be the role model of all of these kids, not kobe, who's a big shit.

  • Class act. One of the best defenders of all time.

  • dayum!!mutombo rocking those nike!!Mutombo U the greatest...so sad he never won a championship...Mutombo U will be missed...

  • the bad finger wag ;] rly nice vid congratulations ;]

  • i never knew mutombo was a good scorer

  • In the 08-09 playoffs against the blazers mutombo had like 10 points 15 rebounds and 3 blocks in the game where he played like 20minutes

this was a few months ago and the rockets woulda beat the lakers with dat dude. Because he was yao's backup

  • that's a stretch lol

  • one of the best guys in the NBA.

  • yeah mutombo the best blocker

  • wahts this song called?

  • ghetto story by lupe fiasco

  • ill track..thanks

  • thank youuu

  • Anybody think he has an outside shot of making the HOF?

  • He's a HoFer

  • @Trinidadian125 second in block shots. locked for Hall of fame

  • I agree he was a helluva of a defensive player... but offensively he really couldn't do much. Isn't Mark Eaton like top 5 on the blocks list too? He's got no shot... why Mutombo? If Deke goes, then should Ben Wallace?

I really like Mutombo and have fond memories of the man, but I doubt he'll get in.

  • @Trinidadian125 deke is SECOND in block shots in a mile, ben wallace is no where near close. Besides, his career points are over 11000 which is which is not a bad number and his career rebound is outstanding too. Ben wallace stand no chance stats wise. Dam i hate how nba had turned into an offensive show where all that matters is points ignoring defensive stats

  • I agree with you about the NBA becoming an offensive-minded league. You really can't blame MJ either as he was an amazing defender. I think it's the ushering in of European players and players coming out of high school (therefore never getting a chance to play against and learn 'system' defenses).

  • @Trinidadian125 ben wallace was a better defender then both eaton and mutombo

  • is this a joke? Mutombo was the best def ever in the nba

  • I have met him, I was up to his belly button. He has a 12 year old daughter that is taller then me and I am 18.

  • Youre just a manlet.
