In 1990 all Super Puma designations were changed from AS 332 to AS 532 Cougar to distinguish between civil and military variants.

no! Puma, Cougar and Super Puma are 3 different helicopter. The puma is the shortest one, the super puma is a one meter longer. the cougar is nearly the same helicopter like the super puma. the only difference is the better avionic of the cougar. all type of helicopter are used in military and in civil. in this videos, you see just pumas.
