I found this stuff, worthless it did not remove any stains. It smelled like straight gasoline. Kids were sniffing it to get high. It did leave a nice grease spot on anything you applied it on.
This is from a better time, when commercials for stain-removing products really MEANT something. Not like now, where all these auto-tuned stain-removal products are acting like tramps and making a bad example for the youth of today.
i remember this commercial..i never purchased the stuff..i assumed it was a gimmick (that did not work)..did anyone try this stuff and did it actually work?
@rhymeandreasoning YES! The commercial looks like a bunch of phony-pitchman jargon. NOPE. It totally works and does ALL you see on the clip. As a kid, I spilled something on my pants. I tried a stain remover and the stain got WORSE! Then my neighbor rubbed on the didi seven and PRESTO, it totally vanished. The stuff smells toxic, but it's some straight-up David Copperfield stuff.
By the way, I was a teenager when this commercial came out. Even then, I thought this looked faked. All the stains they scrub and rub seem to come out too easily, inconsistent with the actual contact with the source of friction they get.
I remember this exact commercial. It's funny how perception changes with time--I wouldn't dare stain my hands with motor-oil, ink, etc for a commercial today. But watching that guy's chemical tainted hands back then was no big deal.
This does not look healthy, what the hell is that stuff made of! Probably some nasty horrid chemicals that was proven to produce flipper children (Don’t worry though, if the flipper baby’s come across any iodine it will slide right off and not even stain them! Amazing!)
Hey, Is tere more of that product STILL on the market?!!? I need to get my hands on those RIGHT NOW! I LOVE how this product works! Thanks for putting this commercial on You Tube!
