My aunt told me about this movie, tonight. Just the little bit of what she said really broke my heart, and this clip made it worse. I don't know if I stand to watch the entire movie, but I'd like to try.
This was movie was so powerful and well made! Tachina was EXCELLENT as Lena Baker and she should have won best actress-Academy, Sundance, Screen Actor's Guild (if I spelled it right:) for her portrayal...I rarely cry during movies, but this one TRULY impacted me, especially as a black woman in America.
