I heard an interview with Dilana regarding Allison's version of this song and I got the impression that Dilana didn't exactly "let" her record it. I also saw an interview with Allison about it and she seemed kinda guarded and slightly bummed about it. Given that the two versions sound almost exactly alike (to me, anyway) it seems to me that Allison's label just put it on Allison's album without permission. Can anybody say whether that's true or not?

I haven't really listened to Dilana's second album but her first is really awesome. Most of the music she wrote for her second album has a heavy meaning behind it like her husband cheating on her and some of her friends dying from Cancer. That's why it's a more laid back album.
