WTF? This must be an edited-for-TV version 'cuz SO much nudity, sex & violence is completely cut out. Infact, I think ALL nudity & gore are missing entirely. My favorite part where the simpleton dude brands the H in the trampy woman's chest is totally butchered. In its original form it actually showed him branding her with the hot iron after he rips her shirt and bra open. The unrated version runs, at least, 8 minutes longer and is FULL of graphic violence and plenty of nudity and sex.

@5000samu I have heard that the unedited/unrated version is on a DVD in a boxset of Drive-In Horror Movie Classics. I have yet to verify this for myself so I cannot say whether it is true or not. Several sources have said that it is unedited.unrated but I just don't know. Go to Amazon and enter this in the Movies & TV Search: Drive-In Movie Classics 50 Movie Pack. 'Savage Weekend' is listed as being #38.

As far as I know the stand alone dvd versions of savage weekend are cut like this version. The good news is that Mill Creek has a box set called 50 drive in classics that includes savage weekend uncut!!!! It costs about $12 and you get 49 more movies!!! The uncut version runs aout 5 minutes longer and has nudity and gore(you even get a close up of the "H" branding). I watched it last night back to back with Love Me Deadly(not in the box set the Code Red dvd).

Don't bother with the single dvd of Savage Weekend. There are many out there and as far as I know there all cut versions.
