It was a good ball, but warney spins it like that loads of times. It was bad batting. He only got his foot across until the ball was hitting the stumps. If he had gotten his foot across to the pitch of the ball quicker, it would have slammed into his pads. No umpire would give that out lbw when his foot is that forward and across.
