  • pro tuned is even quicker but this is decent. you need mufflers how do you drive with that interior sound.

  • What were your overall gains when compared to stock form?

    Thanks

  • @katanamast279 Butt Dyno shows awesome power gains... Even with Stage 1 over stock has some nice gains.. =)

  • @tomigunz82 If you dont mind me asking how much was tune after you got all of your bolt ons installed?

  • @katanamast279 Picked up a Cobb AP 2nd hand.. After that, didn't cost me anything but bolt on upgrades. I'm using the Stage 2 v3 OTS maps

  • @tomigunz82 How has the tune been? Like has it been reliable and stuff

  • @katanamast279 I heard it's not an aggressive tune. If you want better gains, you gotta go Pro Tune, but I'm not gonna fork out the money for it. At least not now. =) But yeah, it's running like a champ. Are you planning on anything?

  • @tomigunz82 Yea Im gonna either get a wrx premium hatch or a STI 4 door. Probably the only thing I wil get is an exhaust intake and the COBB accessport. For the longest I've been trying to decide on whether I should get one of those or a 370Z. Since Subarus are cheaper and more practical Im leaning more towards them

  • @katanamast279 I told myself I was just gonna get a exhaust.. then came along a intake, and a downpipe, and of course the AP.. lol.. list goes on..good luck with the choices.. both are good!

  • nice video bro... i have the same wrx but with stage 1 ( nameless performance axle back 3" , air intake K&N and flashed ) .-

  • @yoyigu axle back 3"?? you mean 3" tips? The piping is 2".. and flashed with?

  • @tomigunz82 `yes 3" tips ( double wall with valence ) with the pipin 2" , air intake k&N and flashed.. The car has improved significantly.

  • what exhaust you running bro?

  • @fbjr2003 some cheapo DP from NASIOC group buy, stock mid pipe, and nameless performance muffler delete axle backs... gonna finish up the exhaust with the Nameless mid pipe when funds are free'd up..

  • @tomigunz82 yea i'm thinking about the nameless mid pipe as well. there built almost perfectly for these cars in my opinion. it seems to me that nameless knows what they're doing when they make these exhaust parts, they fit perfect.

  • Sorry, my laptop is fucked up so im on my phone. Anyway he bought the wrx (i think it was a 2009 model) used and then the motor blew. It was covered by the warranty and then it blew again. He was running stage 2 also. But im pretty sure he beat the hell out of it lol. But i thought these cars were bulletproof even if u beat on them or take them to the track?

  • @sergsrt8 they are if you know how to drive. i'm assuming he drove it really hard probably redlined it more than he should have. i've had my 11 for almost a year and i get on it frequently. no probs here.

  • @fbjr2003 thats good to hear.I like to get on it a lot as well. I know guy who had a 2011 stage 2 sti and one of his rings got fucked up, he said its the only problem that these motors have. If something were to go wrong just fix it and upgrade the pistons as well, now he can handle up to 650hp. Right now he is running 23psi + meth. But another problem with the wrx is the 5 speed lol. Nice car by the way, i wish i got a wrx

  • @sergsrt8 that's very true. hopefully mine keeps up the good work so I don't have to worry about that lol. thanks too BTW.

  • Hows the motor doing bro? My brothers friend blew his motor twice so he sold his wrx.

  • @sergsrt8 Doing good... Your buddy drives it pretty hard? I commute to work most of the time so i dont get on it much. What year is his? Mine runs strong everyday with cobb's base tunes. So far no hickups. Sometimes depending on the weather, ill get over boost. Around 20 psi tops but its still running fine.

  • stock shifter ?

  • @armadatilem Stock STi shortshifter assembly was installed from the factory. But i want to put a shorter length shifter.. Sometime maybe next year. I'm saving up for a spearco TMIC

  • nice vid man... Do you like your COBB BPV? How do you have it set up 50/50 or 100% of the air goes out ?

  • @MartiNDrum Thanks...I don't have a cobb BPV,, I'm running stock.. Stock is supposed to hold over 20psi. I'm only running 19.5...
