Water treatment should always be part of any civilized population, the problem is that most poor countries have been stripped over their resources and wealth and then it becomes out of reach. You can blame the IMF, UN and Central banking for the conditions that they blame on population growth and capitalism. Try to research the wealth of any of the board members of the Federal Reserve and you'll find out find out that they're wealth is greater than GDP of all these poor countries combined

Yes. As the producer of this TERRAVIEW news feature series I agree with you. With worldwide research and funding for health care systems, people live longer now. The birth rate, has not gone down - and exponential growth of population across the world is rising in geometric progression.

While I agree that technology alone can not save us from OP - but then I think it would a good idea to include a component about population in such environment stories in future.

People have no clue how bad overpopulation is. This is going on all over the world and is getting worse. Control births and lower population and you will almost eliminate these problems in the future. Technology cannot save us from OP.
