Magnificent show , awesome actors -all of whom made it feel so real to me :) just brilliant. Big "claps & cheers" to the script writers and creators of 8SR who's creativity & comic genius made this show shine with an outstanding humour & tear-jerking moments which i will treasure forever :) , just a shame that this show didn't get more "exposure" on TV - for one , i only learned of it's existence in 2011 - why did it take so long for me (a lover of sid-coms) to find out about it ? (rhetorical)

@artyfarty3 and to John Ritter (possibly the best TV dad anyone could ever wish for) : You ware a grate actor and from what i hear even a grater husband and a father .It's such a grate loss You had to leave in the prime of Your life and in the summer of Your career , i'm sure You had better plans then to just sneak away from us all like that & that it wasn't Your personal choice - heck, it never is, for anyone, ever .

You are truly missed down here Sir & we (the fans) will always remember You .

I can't believe this show stopped after just 3 seasons. With Spade and Garner, it was hilarious. Ritter was great but I still liked the third season. Can't find the second season though. If anyone does, please let me know. Oh well, now to find another series to watch while working (shhhhhhh)

Well, after all these years, I finally saw all of 8 Simple Rules. It was a great show. Very funny. I can't believe I never watched it 1st time around. Now I'm going to miss it. Yes, the show was never the same without John Ritter. It was so sad, what happened to him. Such a great Actor. But I still enjoyed the show. Jim and CJ were great. additions. I can't understand why it got canceled, it was a great show. Sucks that they never wrapped it up, just canceled it. Thank you so much for posting.

LOL gotta love Grandpa! Rory & CJ are hilarious too! This was an awesome series 2 watch...I loved every bit of it. Except John Ritter passing...that was truly sad. All in all, though, great job by the actors. They should make more family shows like these! Thanks so much for uploading!

the show wasn't picked up for a 4th season and they most likely thought that they would be therefore ending season 3 with a cliffhanger as opposed to ending it as an official series finale. I hate when shows don't get picked up because they leave you wondering what happened and you'll never know :(
