The broadcast was actually coming from my low power AM transmitter upstairs fed by audio from an FM tuner playing the local NPR affiliate station WUOT in KNoxville, TN. That night they were playing old time radio music and I just happened to be testing the Zenith at that time.

Does this have the original VIBRATOR or does it have a solid state vibrator?
If it's solid state where did you get it and Is it negative or positive ground?
